We stayed there in October and it was amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful with advice about things to see and do and the food was absolutely over the top. The attention to detail makes this place great. We loved it.

We so appreciate knowing that the attention to detail that we are passionate about is being noticed. We want to make our guest's experience something to always remember. There is something so special about this oasis in the forest - the secluded setting, well appointed rooms where we try to have everything a guest may need, and our gourmet breakfasts - that people leave better than they came. We have worked diligently over the slower winter season to make it even better, adding additional touches and upgrades, most that have been suggestions from guests, to many of our rooms. We hope you'll come back and see. - Debbie and Mark Santy, innkeepers

The parking is at the bottom of a long staircase, you park at top to unload and then move the vehicle to the bottom. This is not suitable for seniors, unless the owners could possibily move the vehicle for you. We liked the breakfasts which were quite fancy, but perhaps bacon

Thank you for your review - we are so appreciative of knowing what our guests need and desire, and we are continually responding to guest suggestions. Our list of completed upgrades and changes keeps growing, all to improve the guest experience. Please know that we will ALWAYS reserve a parking spot at the top of the driveway, right by the building entrances, for anyone with mobility challenges or is bothered by the altitude, and we apologize if we didn't offer you that option. As you suggested, we are certainly open to moving the car for our guests as well. Because our breakfasts are cooked to order, we can always simplify with just toast or bacon and eggs if requested - all our options and choices make our breakfasts quite unique and we aim to please. We don't know when you stayed with us, but we've been upgrading our beds with high-end luxury toppers and we've heard nothing but wonderful "best night sleep ever" comments. Bed comfort is so individualized, but when we realized our quality mattresses were quite firm, we found these toppers to be a wonderful upgrade for that great night's sleep. - Mark and Debbie

Our 3 day stay at the Sheridan House Inn was absolutely nothing less than perfect. We arrived the day after Christmas and the Inn was decorated beautifully inside and out and the light snow that started to fall when we arrived, made it seem as though we had just stepped into

The pleasure of having you in our inn was all ours! Seeing our guests relaxing, delighting in our creative and artistic breakfasts, discovering all our little touches in the rooms, and in awe over the surrounding beauty of our little oasis in forest and the majestic Grand Canyon is what drives us. We truly are passionate about setting the scene for you to make memories, and are so glad we did just that. We hope you do come back. - Debbie and Mark

The Sheridan House is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's actually an ideal, a model of perfection of that concept. Mark and Debbie really, really, REALLY want you to have a good experience, and they outdid themselves making us feel

We struggle with how to respond to a review that sounds too good to be true, but the Taylor's were here with us and their experience is truly what we strive to achieve with all our guests. It is in our hearts to help our guests have an experience they can treasure, and that they leave better than they arrived. That is what the Sheridan House Inn is all about, and why we pour our heart and soul into it, as do our staff team members. Thank you for these incredibly kind words, for being our guests and becoming our friends. We hope you will return. - Debbie and Mark Santy, Innkeepers

This is one classy operation, owned and run by two wonderful hosts. The rooms and the breakfasts are over the top and both make you feel like you are their only guests. If traveling to Grand Canyon, don't stay in Flagstaff. Go to Williams and stay with Mark and Debbie. 12/10

Thank you so much, Nigel, and thank you for being our guests. We know we have the nicest people who come through our doors, and we want to get to know them and to serve them. It is our passion to see that our guests' vacations here are a memorable and personalized experience. Plus, we believe that breakfast is not only the most important meal of the day, but is the best part of our day - serving our guests delicious offerings while enjoying the forest views and special conversation with us and with their fellow travelers - unless they want to delight in each other in the comfort of their rooms with breakfast in bed. We aim to please. We hope you come back again. - Debbie and Mark, Innkeepers

As you can see from the other answers, it is about an hour drive to the Grand Canyon from Williams. We chose Williams because we wanted to do the train. It was really nice and relaxing and we still had time to see quite a bit of the canyon. If you want more time, then you probably want to drive yourself so there is no time frame. This B&B is absolutely wonderful and you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay there.

Temps can vary greatly because of our elevation but as a guide ave highs are usually in the region of 65-70 mid Sept. Nightime temps can reach lows in the mid 40's
