My sister and I would like to come Oct. 16 - 18 and was wondering about pricing for a room with 2 beds and if the local attractions are still open during that time? Thank you.
Pricing is $195 for two beds (2 guests). Grand canyon is always open. Train runs every day except Christmas. Bearizona is open. The caverns in Peach Springs. Most of the shops and restaurants will still be open. Helicopters and planes are available. Jeep and motorcoach tours. Horseback riding will probably not be running in October, but possibly the mule rides along the south rim. Raft trips are also a possibility, but it may be a little cold in Oct.

Is there an advantage in staying on the SOUTH ridge?
Not exactly sure what you are asking, South ridge? of the Grand Canyon ? we are south of the Canyon about 60 miles. It really depends on what you are wishing to do while you are there.

What are the local attractions and what is the est way to get tickets?
There are many things to do and see in the area and we also can help with reservations. Grand Canyon, Railways, Bearizona, many hiking trails, Route 66, and a great hub for day trips to : Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, Seligman and more to mention a few. If you are staying with us, Sherry can make some of the reservations.
