The B&B is a delightful, western experience. We we just thrilled with the accommodations, and ready access three 'must see & do', the Grand Canyon, the GC Rail Road, and Williams' Rt66, and other experiences. However, beyond that is the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts Emily and Matthieu. They made our stay perfect with their help and suggestions for touring the GC and Williams, AZ area. Would defintiely stay there again, and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
What a fun place to stay outside of the Grand Canyon. This was the last stop on our National Park Vacation, and was very comfortable and lovely place to stay. About 5 minutes outside of the main Route 66 strip, and was far enough away to not hear much traffic. Matthieu and Emily were so friendly and gracious and was lovely to discover Emily was from our home state of Washington! We stayed in the Antlers room, We set a time to come for breakfast (which you could choose between your room, their dining room, or the common area out in the middle of the property) and if was delicious both mornings we were there. Only about an hour drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Would definitely stay here again if we're ever down in the area again.
Our room was very cute and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and opted to have breakfast brought to our room every morning! I notified them ahead of time that I could not eat dairy and they were so accommodating and our breakfasts were absolutely delicious every morning! We enjoyed being able to explore the property and take walks down by the creek! Emily and Matthieu were incredibly helpful with making suggestions for places to visit during our trip!
Amazing 3 night stay at Trappers Rendezvous. Emily and Matthieu provided a map of property a few days before we arrived and left a light on for us as we got in late. Communication could not have been better, even with listing provided of places open on Thanksgiving Day for dinner. Room was as clean as any place I have stayed in 20 years of weekly business travel, and warm and well appointed, themed, and furnished—see their website photos. Though pictures really don’t do the property justice much like the Grand Canyon itself. And I haven’t mentioned the breakfast yet...was outstanding for the adults and also thoughtful of our little ones with us. More food / variety / quality then we were able to manage. We played horseshoes and ladder ball on property and cooked s’mores in evening by fire. Great location for access to everything in Williams, Grand Canyon Rail, Bearizona, etc. Perfect weather over T’giving with our kids waking up to see their first snow. Our family of four had plenty of room and greatly enjoyed our stay at Trappers Rendezvous. We will definitely be back!…
Western themed rooms. Rooms are large and clean. There is a large central ramada for gatherings, It is set in a large open area yet is a short 10 minute drive to historical Williams Arizona on old Route 66. Plenty of room for children to run around. The Grand Canyon is 55 miles north.
