Our room was wall to wall knotty pine, beam ceiling, and electrified lanterns as wall sconces and lamps. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and informal. The food and margaritas were good, too. Try something a little different for a change.

Both the front desk and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Room was in the lodge, needs to be updated but was clean. We had a breathing machine with us which takes oxygen out of the air to aid with breathing which produces heat, between the machine and the poor AC room was quite warm all night, never really comfortable,... Overall, for the price it was not worth it, best advice I can tell you is to stay in Flagstaff! Not that far away from Valle and Grand Canyons. Flagstaff has better prices and has more things to do than Valle. We stayed in annexed lodge and was very western looking. I liked the cleaness of restroom and room. I... More

We stayed in the annexed motel across the street. The theme and room furnishings were great and really put us in the right mind set for exploring the Grand Canyon. The staff worked with me when I let them know we would be driving in after check in. The restaurant had a great breakfast for a reasonable price to get... More

As travelers look for different things in a place to stay, I will start out here by saying that there were two reasons for a negative review, though these reasons may not be as important to others. The first is that the wifi was poor quality--we still work when we travel, so having a reliable internet connection is a priority... More

I would have posted this at the hotel with its free wifi. But it would not connect. Location good. Mostly clean. Walls are thin. Air conditioner loud but effective. Parking good. Towels are old. Next time I will likely stay in downtown Williams

I fell for the hype when looking for a place to stay on the way to the Grand Canyon. "Last hotel before the Grand Canyon" was all I needed, not realizing there were plenty of places to stay at the Grand Canyo itself. The booking was made through hotel.com for June 26, 2016. They sent me a non-refundable confirmation, which... More

I am in agreement with the majority of reviews on this hotel. You are definitely paying for the location. If that's the most important consideration in booking a place to stay, then this may be the hotel for you. The room is large and the beds are decent (we had two queens). The shower had good water pressure. It's convenient... More

very good location halfway between Williams /Flagstaff and Grand Canyon - driving time approx 30 minutes. and much less expensive than hotels in Tusayan. Valle is very very small and besides this motel, a restaurant, a bar, shop and gas station and a rock shop - these all belong together - there is not much else. But as everybody is... More

Differently overpriced. Not worth 169.99 after tax 181. Worth half that. Clean, but old. Curtains looked at least 30 years old. Hot tub was dirty and cold. A loose bottom step. Restaurant attached to hotel was good.
