We spent one night here on our trip along Route 66. It's a fine little motel with comfortable beds. A perfect place to stay along the 'Mother Road'. Just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. The owner is lovingly and faithfully restoring this long neglected motel to its original 1930s appearance but with as any modern conveniences as... More

On a trip round America. Stop here for what was to be 2 nights left.after one. Room was every basic took 20 minutes to get tepid water at the basin so did not attempt to take a shower. The owner went to great length to tell us about how there had been a water shortage yet I had to waste... More

Wife and I stayed here two nights with a single queen bed. I think some people's complaints I have read come from lack of information before the stay so I'll try and give the information I would have liked to have known. 1. Room is smaller than most hotels because buildings in 1936 were designed with smaller rooms. Didn't bother... More

Stayed in Williams, AZ so as to be close to the Grand Canyon for our visit there the next day. Chose the Grand Motel because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. When we drove up I immediately started apologizing to my husband. The outside left much to be desired. Since check-in was at 4 PM we had to return. Also... More

My husband and I resided here for one night while on our way to Zion National Park. We specifically came to visit Bearizona Wildlife Park and this was the perfect place to stay. This motel is retro and that is why I chose to book a room here. We were the only ones in residence at the time and it... More

A great place to stay! Front desk is extremely friendly and very helpful. It is obvious that they care about their guests and are very accommodating. The owner and his son will give you plenty of advice if you plan on visiting the Grand Canyon. Very happy we stayed here.

We really enjoyed staying in an original Route 66 hotel. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They are working hard to restore the hotel and give all guests a great stay. Breakfast was fresh and filling...bagels, fruits, cereal, yogurt, coffee and milk. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Atmosphere was great! A great town to spend some time in conjunction... More

A great throwback to a golden era of travel. The property is in the midst of a complete transformation. If you are looking for kind hospitality, a clean room (hard wood floors, no carpet), a superbly comfortable bed, and a little nostalgia, then this is the place for you. If you want 5 star luxury with room service...not your place.... More

This old building suffers from electricity infrastructure problem. My child and wife got an electrical shock, when they were in the bath. We were lucky and they were not injured badly. I did not like the way hotel owner started to argue with my wife about that accident and I believe that he should take it more politely. This hotel... More
