Yes, this is an old building (steep stairs, creaky, floors), but the ambiance was great. The rooms were made up wonderfully, and the decor certainly tried to build upon its "seedy" past (but in a pretty subtle way that didn't shock our teenagers). The owners were very nice and easy to talk to, and the restaurant downstairs was great -... More

The Red Garter Inn went above our expectations! Angie met us at the door; she was amazing and gave us the perfect suggestions for our stay, from what to do around the Grand Canyon, to the best place to grab a slice of PIE. And the owner John also checked on us throughout our stay. He is so passionate about... More

Just love this place! We stayed in room number one facing the street and it was more than we expected with ambience and space. The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs. Very clean. It was all so close to everything in town. Well within walking distance. Also walking distance to the Grand Canyon train. Glad we had stayed here... More

We were glad to help you enjoy your Route 66 adventure. The street you faced was the westbound Historic Route 66 and the other end of the Inn faces the eastbound Route 66 through the center of our Historic district. Thanks again, More

What a great place! The owners are super accommodating and friendly and the inn is super clean and comfortable! We had a great stay and were so glad we picked this spot to sleep! The inn sits right in the hot spot for dining and shopping. We opted to open the windows instead of using the AC and we suggest... More

This is a delightful, slightly quirky B&B. Sure, the stairway is steepish and the rooms aren't soundproof, but those slight inconveniences seem pretty insignificant when considered against the charm, history, and overall comfort of the Best Gal's Room. The owner and staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast downstairs in the cafe was generous. The location is convenient for those who... More

This place was wonderful. Historic building with a ton of history...Although there was talk of spooks we did not experience anything out of the ordinary. The breakfast was very good...Try the Breakfast burrito...

This is the second time I've stayed at the Red Garter Inn. Love the super cozy comfy historic feel. Haven't seen the ghost of the Madam yet, but will keep coming back! Appreciate the hospitality room stocked with water, soda, coffee, fridge, ice machine and microwave! Good full hot breakfast in the bakery downstairs. Angie is super knowledgeable of the... More

Love the place! It is in downtown and close to everything. Very nice to be able to just start walking Williams. People who run the place are very pleasant and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it has 21 steep steps to the rooms. Only a big deal if someone has a disability. If... More

A wonderful 2 night stay, the Madam's Room was a trip back in time. John did a great job restoring the entire B&B to bring visions of a time and culture often lost in the fast paced world of today. Will recommend to any and all traveling Route 66 looking for a refreshing stay.
