The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is a hotel. That's really all there is to say about it. Lacking in any historical cachet or interesting architectural qualities, it is just a hotel, like any other random chain.

Our family of 4. (2 A. 2 K. 9 &11). Stayed 2 nights here over spring break. We booked a AAA package that included train tickets and all buffet meals. We arrived at 1pm before the check-in line got VERY long, as we saw later in the evening. We stayed in a deluxe 2 queen room that had been recently...

I'm sitting in the bar writing this feeling the whole place is slightly disorganised. We are having s trip on the train tomorrow so are staying tonight. Check in was painfully slow as there was a huge queue and one receptionist was trying to do both hers and another's job as her mate seemed clueless! Our room is fine and...

Thank you for your comments on your experience at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. I apologize for the apparent confusion, we have been a bit short staffed recently but are working to bring on more staff. I apologize that we were not at our best. I hope you had a great train ride to Grand canyon!

We stayed at the hotel Wed-Fri to ride the train and explore Williams AZ. We had a suite and it was very clean and the 2 Queen beds were comfy. The bathroom was spacious and had great water pressure and a wonderful shower head. We had a little kitchenette with a Keurig coffee maker and all kinds of different coffees...

We spent two ni ghts at this hotel and took the train to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The hotel was rustic but well appointed. The room was lovely and comfortable. We ate at Spencer's Pub, which is inside the hotel. The other eating option is a Cafe buffet in a separate building. Spencer's had a great pizza,...

The hotel has a captive clientele as it's the take-off and return site for the train to the Grand Canyon, (which is a delightful trip with a lovely snack/chocolate/champagne buffet). The hotel is pretty adequate, but the buffet dining room on site left a GREAT DEAL to be desired. The price is $24 and the food was sub-par, with some...

Thank you for your comments on your experience at the Grand Canyon Railway. I am sorry that you did not enjoy the buffet, as we work hard to present hot and tasty food for many different tastes at all meals. We do not take our location near the train depot for granted, and have renovated all of the hotel rooms...

Great location to take the train to the Grand Canyon! Beautiful, freshly new, quiet and extremely friendly staff. Our room was was modern, extremely clean and relaxing. We walked around town, enjoyed the small stores and the fresh air of Williams. It was definitely chilly, even with the sun out. My husband and I left our rental car at the...

Booked to visit the Grand Canyon with an 'Olde Worlde' rustic train which departs early in the morning. It's only logical to stay close to the train station the night before, so naturally booked a night at the Railway hotel in Williams. We imagined it to be a shabby place but to my extreme surprise, this hotel is a fully...
