Stayed here on 3rd night of our 2 weeks holiday to USA. We had moved up from Sedona to Williams with the weather getting steadily worse (snow). At 1pm we were very grateful that the very friendly person on reception advised that our room was ready and we could go straight in. The room was one that I believe had... More

The location of this property is ideal if you plan to take the train to the Grand Canyon. The room itself was adequate but on the smaller size. The long winding hallways can be a bit confusing. The pool is very small for the size of this property and quite crowded when we walked by so we chose not to... More

Thank you for your comments on your stay at the Railway Hotel. The hotel was built in three phases, so can be a bit confusing to navigate. We supply a map, but even with that can still be a challenge. The pool is a popular place, and certainly could be enlarged. We have submitted a couple different plans for consideration... More

We intentionally timed our check-in for when things were slower at the front desk. Only one other person was checking in and yet it took us well over 30 minutes. There were no problems; the clerk just kept making errors and talking with staff members. We've stayed in several Xterra properties and this one doesn't compare to the others. Our... More

We didn't actually stay at the hotel but before we took the train up to the Grand Canyon we ate breakfast at the restaurant. The buffet had really great food. Well worth the cost. We would definately recommend others eating there.

I am glad you enjoyed the breakfast at the Grand Depot Café. We recently renovated the entire restaurant and that investment has made for a much better dining experience. Thank you for sharing your comments. More

We bought the 3 night package with the train ride to the Maswik Lodge for a night. The Railway Hotel was nice...rooms and building a little boxy, but very nice and clean with a nice big lobby. Train ride was the highlight of our trip. Much fun, with live entertainment and refreshments. The staff at the hotel is very nice,... More

Rooms were nice and the hotel was centrally situated. There was a good bar, which also did hot drinks and breakfast snacks in the morning. The attached resturant across the road had a buffet for each meal; we didn't try it but others in our party did and said it was excellent. The only reason I haven't given this hotel... More

We booked the train ride to the canyon. Our package allowed us to stay at the GCRH for the night, ride the train to the Canyon and stay at the Maswik Lodge, then return by train to the GCRH the next night for three days all together. I recommend this, The other package requires you to see the canyon all... More

Staying at this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is welcoming from the time you walk in the door. What put it over the top for us was the exceptional service we received at the hotel's restaurant. One of my son's has a peanut/tree nut allergy and Chef Daniel V. Came out and walked us through every item on... More

This hotel was chosen because we wanted to catch the train to the Grand Canyon. All rooms are clean, exceptionally clean, friendly staff and a lot of fun. We ate at their Grand Canyon Buffet and we couldn't fault it. After breakfast on our second day, we were invited to an old Wild West showdown which was very funny. This... More

We traveled to Williams to stay at the Grand Canyon Railroad hotel, and take the train to the Grand Canyon. Enjoyed our overnight stay, nice buffet breakfast at cafe next door. Train ride was fun, relaxing, convenient.
