What a great couple of hours we had riding with family! Our guide, Josh was knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. It was a beautiful day in the desert with great horses! As a local, I am so glad they allow the public to go on these rides and not just visitors to the Ranch! We felt very safe and the horses were great! They even made it easy to mount and dismount!! Highly recommend!!

Our family of 5 from Minneapolis LOVED our experience here. Despite unseasonably chilly weather, our time here was magical. My kids ages 9, 6, and 3 had a blast with the horses, the SWEETEST trail dog, Tayah, Mocha the cow, George the pony, the donkeys, and the mules. The wonderful cook, Ray was kind enough to give the kids a bag of cut up carrots and apples to feed the cow and pony, and my kids really enjoyed that. The horseback riding was out of this world. Beautiful scenery, precious horses, and AMAZING cowboy guides like Josh, Jeff, and Taylor. They take such pride in what they do, and it made all the difference to our family. Josh made my 6 year old who was initially SO fearful of riding very comfortable offering her additional one-on-one time with a horse. This is not something he needed to do, but he genuinely cares for others having a good time. You could tell that all three (Jeff, Josh, and Taylor) SINCERELY wanted everyone to have a good time, and they went out of their way to make it happen. The food was FANTASTIC. Jessie, Liz, and Ray were SO WARM, kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to accommodate our vegetarian family. We loved the food, and Jessie made us feel like family from the minute we met her. Liz’s kindness was evident from the very second you spoke to her. These people are just some of the kindest people you’ll meet, and you could taste their kindness in the delicious food! We enjoyed all three meals plus endless delicious cookies, drinks, and fruit throughout the day. The meals were so filling sometimes it was hard to snack on anything between meals! We came when the weather was unseasonably cold, so I was initially disappointed because I was imagining days in the pool when we weren’t horseback riding. Lucky for us, they keep their pool SO WARM and hot tub SO HOT that even though it was windy and cold outside, we thoroughly enjoyed LOTS of water time! The ping pong table, foos ball, and giant chess set got lots of use too! This place is a DREAM! I researched Dude ranches high and low, and I’m so happy we went with Flying E.

To start this off with I'd like to say all you women out there if you get the chance to go to cowgirl weekend do it. You will not regret it. I went on a whim by myself didn't know anybody and left with a new group of friends. The staff was amazing, if you had a need they would tend to it. The wranglers who lead the trail rides are experienced horsemen who can make even the most beginner rider feel comfortable. The rooms are Vintage western, ultra clean and the beds are super comfortable. I can't wait to go back next year.
