Can't beat the decor. If it were a store, I'd have purchased 50 items. The place is not kitschy-cowboy. It's genuine. Welcoming. Joyful. Tasteful. And that describes the owners too. Try to rise early, sit on your porch or lay in the hammock and listen to the bird symphony. We travelled with two 14 year olds. Hiked a matter of... More

I feel like we were friends before you even arrived and am so glad you stayed in touch before your arrival. We loved having you here. And although it was just one night, we built a bond in no time. Thanks for the wonderful words about your stay here, and we truly hope we'll hook up again and pick up... More

We stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is pretty and has amazing access to The Nature Conservancy Land by the Hassayampa River. The casitas are cute with sweet details, warm, and include comfy kitchen and home-baked treats. Thoughtful breakfast items were provided....the owners were helpful and not overbearing. We love to support local efforts... More

Just before Christmas I had one of the most relaxing weekends of my life staying in a guest house at this charming place. My little home for a few days was the "Rancho Deluxe"! Decorated Old West style but with all the amenities. Really unique decor. Cozy and comfy with beautiful quilts and linens. Spotlessly clean. Host Katy Bee, provides... More

Our casita had all the comforts of home: a complete kitchen, comfy sitting area, separate bedroom, and our own porch. The decor was a real feast for the eyes! Even though there are several casitas on the property it felt very private. We enjoyed the friendly western culture of Wickenburg for two days in November, and RIo Tierra Casitas was... More

We stayed one week in Mexicasa Roca and didn't want to leave! Clean comfortable and warm, as it was chilly at night the week of New Years! Katy was wonderful and even baked us cinnamon cakes and two cupcakes for the road! There was fresh fruit and she brought us cream and coffee until we went grocery shopping. I would... More

You girls were so fun to have here. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. And I will always remember that trip to Vegas you snuck in and came back with a big win! Hope the rest of the New Year is very lucky and lucrative for you as well. More

We stayed at the casita for 7 nights and Katy was a very good hostess. She provides a breakfast bread, fruit, and coffee for your 1st morning. She provides privacy yet is available if needed. Our casita was clean and comfortable and the decor was quite unique, filled as it was with vintage articles. Fun! One of a kind and... More

A fun four days at Rio Tierra, as I made my way from Palm Springs to Wickenburg, one more time. I found deep sleep in sweet smelling sun-dried sheets in the Rancho Deluxe casita, where I loved staying as much as I love just saying that name. I took great delight with the baked goods and breakfast snacks in the... More

It was so good to have you here again. You were busy, I know, and even found time for your painting along the river. Now I'd love to buy some of your landscape work. Name your price! You're a dear to share all your memories here. Maybe we'll have to name a guest house after you. See you next time... More

We stayed in the Rancho Deluxe bunk house casita. Very fun, filled with western art and memorabilia to take you back to a simpler time. Katy and John are perfect hosts to make your relaxing stay more enjoyable. The nature conservatory is a great place to appreciate the wonders of Mother Nature. So much better than staying in a "motel"... More

The joy of this business is making new friends like we just did with both of you! Thanks for adding your experience to our reviews. We are so fortunate to live right by the running waters of the Hassayampa River and glad you enjoyed your early morning stroll along the big open arroyo. Now we can boast a real Arizona... More

This is a wonderful respite from chain motels. Everything about the place is individual and carefully thought out. The owners are very nice, the accommodations were lovely, and the property is both peaceful and full of personality. The property is very nicely maintained, the bed was good, the location is a bit of a desert oasis. I would recommend it... More

This property has a truly unique "water feature" with the river and wildlife in seemingly dry desert. The property is well maintained and in character with the surroundings. The attention to detail the owner exhibits feels like a family's retreat. Be cautious and follow directions carefully or you may miss the entrance, it is hidden.
