My family and I had the most amazing birthday weekend at the ranch. They gave us a HUGE connecting room that fit our larger group and allowed us all to spend time together when the kiddos were napping. The staff, wranglers and atmosphere were all 11's out of 10 (as my seven year-old said). I truly felt like I was away from it all in the best way possible. I can't wait to go back!

We came here for a company offsite - it was perfect for the current situation (COVID-19). There was plenty of space and outdoor activities for us to enjoy each other's company and yet maintain social distance. The grounds and facilities are well-maintained and the common rooms are warm and welcoming with plenty of windows. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, whether it be those on the catering team or those managing the corral/horses. Suzanne (events manager) was lovely to work with - everything went very smoothly. Thank you!

We happened upon this by accident. Don't know where to start but this places is fabulous! Don't expect posh, but if rustic charm, well loved rooms with a couple nicks and dings, comfortable beds and down home warmth appeal, this is the place! We just planned to stay one night as a stopover, but loved it so much we stayed two. My husband also really enjoyed the golf course. Will definitely make it a destination in the future with family to enjoy all the activities the offer!

We were looking for a place to play golf on escape from snow to some golf and sun in California. Was happy to discover Rancho de los Caballeros. We're not the dude ranch sort of people, but found this resort to be a great deal for a golf vacation. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Grounds were well-kept. Golf course was nicely manicured and fun with some challenge. The Ranch package with golf (or horseback riding) and American Plan for meals was great. For lunch we could eat at the golf clubhouse or at the hotel. Breakfasts included lots of fruits, breads and meats and there was a station for eggs and omelets. Because of our tee times, we ate at the golf clubhouse both days. My husband enjoyed the salmon & watermelon salad one day and the special sandwhich the next, I enjoyed the taco salad one day and the shrimp louie the next. A nice touch were the homemade cookies offered at the end of lunch. For dinner we had salads, ribeye steak and chicken marsala and dessert. On the second night we both had the night's special: smoked pork belly stuffed chile relleno. It was delicious and filling enough where we did not have salad or dessert. That night there was a hotel-sponsored cocktail party, but by the time we got off the golf course and ready for dinner we had forgotten about it. All in all a great stay. I can recommend Rancho de los Caballeros.

We had a fantastic week at the Ranch. The guest room was spacious, charming and comfortable. The dining room and service exceptional- the best food we have had in a long time. We went horse riding every day and each ride was better than the last. The horses were healthy, happy and well trained, and the wranglers were outstanding. The terrain and views around the ranch were breathtaking. We already thinking about coming back.
