This seemed to be among the more economical places in Tusayan, which was our reason for picking it. Beds were fine, staff was helpful and friendly. The property has that 70's look in many respects, but was fine for our group. They, or city, needs to work on getting good internet service.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The Red Feather Lodge is reasonably priced for its basic necessities it offers. Small swimming pool but we didn't use it. Stayed in the hotel part of the RFLodge and it was very quiet. Really slept well. :) Nothing fancy but would recommend it to... More

I stay here most all the time I visit the Canyon, which is 2-5 times a year. Like *everywhere* in Tusayan, WiFi is terrible but at least it's free. The staff is great and go out of their way to help you out. Outdoor pool isn't much to write home about, but if you intend to spend most of your... More

The rooms are average. The rooms were clean, but they are a bit old. The staff was extremely nice what made up for the hotel being very basic, but the locations excellent. The swimming pool not great, but laundry very convenient. Parking ample and safe. Not a bad place to stay to visit the south rim.

Room (2 queen) was good size for the four of us. Wifi was great, we were in the lodge part, maybe in the motel it's different. Front desk lady gave us good and patient advice on viewing sunrise over the Grand Canyon (we did it!). Free apples and coffee in lobby. Pool looked great, open til 10pm, didn't manage to... More

Stayed here three nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. Hotel is a mile from the entrance, but a 15 minute drive until you actually reach the gates. Shuttle bus service is excellent. There are 4 stops near the hotel where you can board the bus to the Grand Canyon. You will need a park ticket to board the bus. The... More

Thank you for staying with us at Red Feather Lodge. The shuttle service that the National Park Service provides in the late spring thru early fall is a great way to get in and out of the Park -- much easier than looking for parking! I am sorry about the wi-fi -- we are in a very remote area with... More

I went to Grand Canyon with my parents and this was the only one available after the 4th July weekend. The location is excellent as it is just about less than an hour away from the North Rim, Antelope Canyon and Horse shoe bend. Just after driving a little bit towards the North Rim you reach the first vista point... More

Enjoyed our few days at the South Rim. It was nice having a hotel nearby to recover from all the walking and hiking. They have an outdoor pool and wifi. There are several restaurants and gift shop/convenience stores nearby as well. It was a nice surprise to have a few amenities in the middle of nowhere.

I stayed here for two nights in July in order to visit the Grand Canyon. When I was looking at hotel near the Grand Canyon, I was floored by the prices, but the Red Feather Lodge offered a reasonably good price. It was a comfortable hotel, kind of basic, but good nonetheless. I wasn't looking for luxury, just a nice... More

We stayed for two nights to visit Grand Canyon. Great location with shuttle bus stop just across the street. Clean room with fairly new carpet on 1/F. The problem was you could hear every step of the guests on 2/F; apparently getting ready for sunrise tour at 4:30am and walking about for two hours. No breakfast but good espresso coffee... More
