Red Feather Lodge is commended for its spotless rooms and convenient location near the Grand Canyon, a highlight for many guests. The service is often described as warm and accommodating, contributing to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere. While the rooms earn praise for their cleanliness and comfort, some visitors suggest they could benefit from modernization and improved soundproofing. Although the lack of complimentary breakfast and dated decor are noted, the lodge's overall value and amenities like 24/7 coffee are appreciated by travelers.

Staff was very accommodating and immensely helpful when we had to stay an additional night due to a snow storm. Our room was extremely clean, very comfortable and near restaurants that were open during the snow storm. The lodge is near the entrance to GCNP. We enjoyed our stay.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel! It was very clean (even though guests made messes by the coffee the staff was quick to clean it up) , beds were very comfortable, coffee was amazing (and I am a coffee snob), it smelled fresh every time we walked in the front door. The front desk staff.......best ever! They are very friendly, accommodating and professional. I have stayed at hotels that cost 5 times as much and haven't received the level of friendliness as Red Feather. I loved that fact that they are still family owned and take such pride in their business to make guests feel "at home". The price was very fair for the accommodations provided. The décor was extremely appropriate for the area and this type of travel experience. However, El Tovar (inside the canyon) can provide a different experience if you want to pay $500 and up a night. If you want breakfast there are several options within walking distance, however they do provide a breakfast bar in the morning. I am not an easy person to please at times but I would stay here over and over. Great job Red Feather!!! You stand out!!!

We were given 2 queens accessible room ( though none of us needed). The beds felt smaller than queen size and were very low in height. Basically the mattress was over the frame with no box spring to keep height lower for accessible feature I guess , but this made it very uncomfortable. No breakfast although price is high. Coffee in the lobby was not good. So overall, unpleasant experience.

I am so sorry your stay with us was not up to your expectations. The hotel was busy over the holiday period so if you were a late arrival or did not have an advance reservation the accessible may have been the last room available. I do hope you called down to the desk to see if there was anything else they could move you to. And please come back again and give us another try.

We got a free upgrade from the motel to the hotel. Staff were very friendly, clear and thoroughly in their directions. Included in your stay is a 10% discount to two local restaurants, both of which had good food. Everything in town is within walking distance. They offer complimentary coffee and a great assortment of teas. I believe they also offered granola bars and hot cocoa on request. The rooms were well appointed with a refrigerator and microwave. The water pressure was great in the shower. The decor was nice and relaxing.

Quick trip to Grand Canyon for Thanksgiving. Quick review to say I was very impressed with the Red Feather Lodge. Checkin was friendly and quick. Parking was very easy. Lots of people staying for the holiday but all was well organized and explained. I requested a quiet room on upper floor ( I am a very light sleeper ) a lot of hotels do not take me seriously but Red Feather Lodge had a great room on top floor at the end of the hall and it was a great night's sleep. Room was clean and in good repair - bathroom super nice and large - lots of actual fluffy towels. The hotel pays attention to details, even leaving a specific wrapped wipe on the bedside table to clean the remote. Coffeemaker, refrigerator (that was working but was so quiet) and microwave. A nice feature is coffee, tea and cocoa available in a spacious alcove area in the lobby. We ate at Mexican Restaurant nearby before checking in - however hotel offers discounts at a couple nearby places, so suggest you checkin first :). It was my first time to Grand Canyon and I looked at other spots in Tusayan. Prices were pretty high in area, but it appears everything in Tusayan is big expensive. Flagstaff area was another option that I thought about, but it was so worth it to be nearby so we could go to park quickly over two days. Thank you to all!

Second visit to this lovely family owned hotel. 5 mins from the entrance to the South Rim, very clean rooms. No breakfast on site, coffee available all day. Mexican Restaurant next door was very cozy and quite tasty, hotel guests receive 10% off with room key. There is a Starbucks across the street. Would for sure stay here again.

Great location if you're visiting Grand Canyon. We stayed in the motel portion. Rooms were very small but adequate since we were only there one night. Will definitely stay there the next time we travel to that area but will get the hotel room instead if I'm staying several days. Very clean. No breakfast but have breakfast bars available at front desk as well as coffee.

Thank you for staying with us. Yes, the motel rooms (original part of the property) are much smaller than hotel rooms, but we work hard to keep all our rooms renovated, up to date and with amenities. And of course cleanliness, service and comfort are very important. Please come again.
