This is our third stay at the Red Feather Lodge. We use this when we visit the Grand Canyon National Park ( south rim). The location in Tusayan is very convenient to the park entrance. The Lodge, which consists of a a hotel style building and some typical motel (exterior entrance) buildings. The rooms are clean and our bathroom had... More

To be clear, it's an average hotel & an average room. The staff were just so friendly they got bumped up a star. We visited during February, a last minute trip from a Las Vegas vacation, so everything in the park was booked up. Grab your food where you can & early if you visit in the snowy months -... More

After a terrible experience in Vdara, this place is like heavens. Maybe we have adjusted our expectation, thinking a lodge would just something very basic. It is basic but everything is neat & tidy. And they are human! Staff are friendly and check if you do ok. There is coffee in the room and complimentary ones at the lobby. Except... More

When visiting the Grand Canyon we spent two nights here and were happy. We found the housekeeping staff to be nice and friendly with a hello in the corridor - a bonus , also the front desk were lovely. I even did my washing here in the guest laundry and found it safe and easy to access. I think this... More

Everything around Grand Canyon is overpriced - including the hotels. And during our roundtrip in the US the Red Feather Lodge was the most expensive hotel by far... Rooms were okay - but considering the price I would expect better standards. Ours had a real bad smell before we aired it out.

Staying close to Grand Canyon can be pretty pricey. Red Feather lodge offer great value for money considering. We stayed in the new building, deluxe room, and we had a very spacious room with luxury details. Plenty of towels and complementary soap, shampoo etc. Fridge in the room, air conditioning (though we did not need it), the windows open as... More

This is a reasonably priced hotel in Tusayan which is the closest town to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. My room, on the ground floor in the older section was a good size, clean with comfortable beds. Only downside was the creaking from the floor above. If you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for... More

Beware of photos shown on websites. There are 2 sections of this hotel. The original lodge which was built around 1970, then a newer modern add on, which is shown in photos. Unfortunately we ended up in a standard room in the old original part of the hotel. I chose this hotel because the photos attracted me, which was Very... More

My wife and I spent a night here. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Close to the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance and next to the Information Center and IMAX theater. W made reservations well in advance. The place is busy and last minute reservations may not be possible.

I would not say it is a great hotel but okay for couple of nights. Rooms were clean and check-in was quick. Located very near to Grand Canyon south rim entrance right in the village. Number of food joints are within walk-able distance. This hotel give 10% discount on food and beverages consumed in nearby one Mexican restaurant. This hotel... More
