This is a very good place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon. Pitches are very good and spacious. The restrooms could do with a light which would make using them at night a little easier. Would highly recommend Ten-X campground as a family friendly place to stay at a reasonable cost.

We pulled in before noon on a Wednesday and there were sites available. Immediately two big elks greeted us along with a very helpful camp host (which we've found is actually pretty rare). The forest itself is beautiful Ponderosa pine which smells fantastic. During the day most people are gone visiting the Grand Canyon, so it's very quiet. Just you... More

This campground is a gem. Some sites are reservable but most of the 70 sites are first come first serve. Sites are spacious and private in a wooded area with mainly pines. It's quiet and well-maintained with a camp host. Closed for the winter months. Vault toilets and water spigots are spaced throughout. RVs are not allowed to fill water... More

Very nice campground. Clean bathrooms Very nice couple who are the hosts. 5 miles from Grand Canyon Elk all around nice walking trail around the camp. Quiet away from those campgrounds that are jammed next to each other.

This camp ground was great. I stayed here while taking a motorcycle roadtrip across western America. The camp sites are spacious, and facilities are kept clean. I stayed here in may, was a little colder at night than i had expected, be sure tou know the weather when you go. Very close to Grand Canyon, so dont miss that!

If you want more peace and quiet, and still be close to the park entrance, camp at Ten-X. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Our camp hosts were friendly and we met several people who camp here year after year. We enjoyed peaceful camping after our daily adventures in the National Park. We'll be back.

Very convenient and well kept camp ground. The entire outer loop is not able to be reserved and on a first come first serve basis. That added some anxiety when planning for this, so get there early and get a spot. When the camp ground filled up the host posted a sign that shows alternate locations nearby that are free... More

We love camping at NPS sites. The Ten-X site did not disappoint. It was clean and well cared for by the host. We stayed two nights in August - no issue finding a spot given the time of year and the first-come first-serve process. As others have stated, find a spot away from the entrance to minimize the highway traffic... More

We took our pop up tent trailer and had a blast. We saw so many Elk that are not even scared of humans. There are several clean restrooms and each site has a picnic table, fire pit and bbq grill. There is even water wells avail to fill up our 6 gal jugs. Beautiful pines trees. We will definetly be... More

We got a site on a second try, it's the system first come- first served. It was very nice and quiet place, trees everywhere, enough space for each site, a bench and a grill too. The toilets are chemical, there are some pipes with water, but no place to wash dishes or showers. If you don't mind, t's an excellent... More
