The campsites offered little privacy from other campers and the restrooms were simply glorified porta-potty type restrooms. No running water or showers offered. It was less than ten miles from the gate to the Grand Canyon entrance. I rate this a four simply because of the great location and price of campsite. Costing only $10 for a night.

This campground has the bear minimum for camping amenities. The bathrooms are pit toilets. You can pick your own camp site when you get there. The sites close to the main roads and the interior roads can be nosey. Some camp sites have no privacy from other sites. Over all this is a great place to camp. It is about... More

Great campsites located just about 12 miles from the rim of the Grand Canyon South Rim. $15 a night for 1 RV, 1 Car, and one tent. Extra vehicles are $10/night. This is a very clean and well kept wooded campground with toilets, fire pits, barbecues, and picnic tables. The camp staff was kind and courteus. Not too far from... More

What a beautiful campground. Definitely a gem!! If you can get past the pit toilets it's a great place to stay. We camped one night and enjoyed the scenery and how close it was to the Grand Canyon. The price was also great at $10 per night.

We stayed here for 3 nights 7-30-16 thru 8-2-16. This was sort of a last minute trip to Grand Canyon so we didn't have the option of staying at any of the campgrounds in the park which are reservation only. Inorder to stay at any of the park campgrounds you have to make reservations many months in advance. We were... More

Decided to camp here with the family (2 adults,2 young kids 2&10yrs) while our visit to the Grand Canyon bc the campground in the canyon were booked. So glad we did, and we'll continue to stay here when we visit! Was away from the all the tourist and craziness of people going to Grand Canyon. It's self service but did... More

We stayed here three nights on our visit to the grand canyon. The sites were spread out so you don't feel crowded at all. The site was level and access and set up were easy. We weren't there a lot, but it was very quiet at night and we saw huge elk twice, including one morning when they woke us... More

This is a very good place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon. Pitches are very good and spacious. The restrooms could do with a light which would make using them at night a little easier. Would highly recommend Ten-X campground as a family friendly place to stay at a reasonable cost.

We pulled in before noon on a Wednesday and there were sites available. Immediately two big elks greeted us along with a very helpful camp host (which we've found is actually pretty rare). The forest itself is beautiful Ponderosa pine which smells fantastic. During the day most people are gone visiting the Grand Canyon, so it's very quiet. Just you... More

This campground is a gem. Some sites are reservable but most of the 70 sites are first come first serve. Sites are spacious and private in a wooded area with mainly pines. It's quiet and well-maintained with a camp host. Closed for the winter months. Vault toilets and water spigots are spaced throughout. RVs are not allowed to fill water... More
