It's hard to say that our experience at GCCV was anything but underwhelming. From the cold and unwelcoming reception, to the generally scruffy ambience, the rather unlevel sites, the very grotty and poorly maintained ablution block ($2 showers after paying $51 pn for the site!),...More

The reason to stay here is that it is one mile away from the National Park and you can catch a free shuttle bus right across the street at the IMAX. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise the park is...More

First of all, you are in Grand Canyon National Park. That makes an otherwise average campground an incredible place to stay. Yes, the sites are on the small side, and there are no showers in the RV park. The restrooms were sufficient--not the cleanest or...More

Yes, they do have tent spots. But keep in mind, spots are very open so windy all the time.

I think you probably could to be honest. They are paid showers - $2 for 8 minutes - quarters only.

We were there this spring. Not an ideal place for small kids. You are packed in tight. We spent most of our time at the Grand Canyon and it was cold at night, so it worked ok.
