Ron at the front desk and Ruben in maintenance went above and beyond to help give me a ride to my car which got stranded at Bright Angel Lodge in the park. Your hotel is beautiful, but you really made my stay special with your extra service!!!

We booked this hotel because of the abundant Covid guidelines posted on it's website. Beware - the hotel does not follow these! After driving 8 hours to get to the hotel, we were given a room that was not only NOT Covid clean, it was simply dirty. The bathroom had hairs in the sink and the duvet covers were stained. After speaking to two different front desk staff, we were finally given another room. We decided it would be best to wipe all surfaces down ourselves. Considering the amount of dust and dirt that showed up on our wipes, it was clear that the rooms were not being cleaned well. Throughout our stay, we ran into housekeeping staff walking around with masks pulled down under their chins - mouth and nose fully exposed. One housekeeper even came to our room to deliver towels with her mask pulled down under her mouth. Despite the big sign posted outside the elevator that says "Occupancy 1," a housekeeper walked into the elevator right after us. Guests were frequently coming into the hotel and walking the hallways without masks. Since staff are not allowed to enter the rooms, we were told to leave our garbage outside at night and someone would collect it, but the next morning, it was still there. One afternoon, we requested a roll of toilet paper, and waited 30 minutes for it to be delivered. The lighting in the rooms was so low, it was nearly impossible to see, even in the daytime. The wall a/c was very noisy and kept us up at night, and the garbage trucks woke us up in the morning. The towels are so rough, we couldn't use them to on our faces. Hotel staff was not friendly or helpful. At the end of our stay, we wrote a note to the (absent) manager asking to be contacted to discuss the many issues we encountered. S/he never bothered to respond. Bottom Line - don't plan to stay at this hotel unless 1) you don't care about Covid protections, and 2) you are prepared to be aggravated.

Staff is very supportive and helpful all the time, special thanks to Deepankar, Ashish, Ankit & Devander. Will prefer this hotel as a venue for upcoming events. Suggest other individuals and businesses to prefer Grand as a venue fir their projects.

Weak customer service. One day the wifi was completely out. Zero housekeeping at all (even though when we stayed in Sedona, we had housekeeping everyday). As a consolation we requested new towels.They were never brought to the room! Went to get a cup of decaf coffee at their restaurant in the early evening. They didnt have any. Were told to go to Starbucks. We told the guy, "We were already there. Strabucks closed at 5 PM." He said, "they're open until 9!". Told him, "we we were just there, you're wrong!" Then he told us to go to a Mexican restaurant down the street for decaf...LOL. The lobby was nice, room was great (except the housekeeping) so it was an average stay. Might look at Holiday Inn or Best Western next time.

This place is gross. Upon check in, I noticed three long hairs on the bathroom sink, an almost empty roll of toilet paper, towels that had holes and were falling apart, and no soap. I had to call housekeeping to come up as I was not sure the room was even cleaned. The manager came up and was very nice but stated "sometimes these girls get moving too fast and miss things". Not exactly what you want to hear, especially during Covid. What else did they "miss" cleaning? Once she left, I accidentally spilled on the bathroom floor and used a Clorox wipe to clean it up. The wipe was black from all of the dirt! I don't think the floors have been cleaned in months!! There was also trash in the fridge and the comforter was either stained, or dirty from the last guest and not changed. The stay in this place was repulsive and I will never be back. It is also a very inconvenient location if you are coming to visit the park. It is at least a 15 minute drive just to get the entrance. I would recommend staying in the Canyon for the convenience and it is also a much prettier location as it is surrounded by lots of pine trees!
