The situation: A family of four driving across the country with two small dogs. Not a lot of time to linger at each stop. Visiting the Grand Canyon is an indescribable, life-altering experience. All the photos in the world do not do it justice. You must go. That said, navigating the GC and figuring out an itinerary that meets your... More

I felt this hotel was overpriced, but they have a captive audience. The shuttle system in town to get to the grand canyon stops right out front, so that's a bonus. The front desk people were helpful and pleasant enough. The rooms didn't feel or look all that clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was... More

The Grand Hotel is recently remodeled and just beautiful! The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Walking distance to several restaurants and the local grocery shop. Look forward to staying there in the future.

Check in was friendly and quick Nice room Nice bathroom We had a little terrace which was of little use because of the view on the parking Had good dinner at the restaurant with good service though could be quicker. Big drawback is breakfast starts only at seven should be 6 to allow Early start - especially for a hotel... More

Good hotel at the Grand Canyon park entrance and very close to the airport in case you booked a recommended scenic flight. Large rooms, bar, restaurant and a small spa. Tourists from all over the world.

We were able to make fairly last minute reservations at this hotel to visit the Grand Canyon. It was one of the nicer hotels we stayed at during our trip. The pool was on the smaller end, but was clean. The exterior and interior of the hotel are quite lovely. The rooms were nicely updated. Yet, then there was the... More

We stayed one night at the Grand but would love to come back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has that lodge feel with a huge log frame. We had a very nice room. One tip is that the door handles need to be raised to open the bedroom door instead of pulled down. Our room was... More

Broken elevator. Malfunctioning toilet in the room. A snide front desk person laughing at me when I asked whether the hotel had laundry services (he told me to go to a nearby campground). At the bar, stale potato chips and rotting lettuce on the burger. Snail-pace service - we waited 40 minutes for those burgers. Keycards stopped working early morning... More
