Spend the night here once a year on the way to Colorado. Stayed in the "Legacy Suite" this trip (typically stay in Village Suite) and it did not disappoint. Very clean, service was actually very courteous, and the suite was roomy (separate living and bedroom areas with 2 bathrooms). Pool was nice and clean and just what the kids needed... More

We made our reservation over the phone since our Mesa Verde trip was much more interesting than we planned for. When I saw the AAA sticker on the door I asked for the discount and she quickly credited my card. The King room was very large. This was also the only room of our trip that had the ac running... Situated at the junction of US 160 and AZ 264, the Moenkepi Legacy Inn and Suites is well placed for travelers going, say, west to the Grand Canyon or east into the Hopi Reservation. The facility is very new, with many amenities, including a pool. It is clearly on the international horizon: while we were there, several massive tour buses... More

Located at the perfect spot if you're on your way to/from Monument Valley, the design is based on Hopi tradition and is unique and welcoming. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Plenty of free parking. Very nicely landscaped grounds and pool area is inviting too. Shell station opposite. Recommend you arrive for breakfast earlier vs. later. Only minor... More

We arrived at the hotel at 8 pM. In the lobby there was an awful smell. We go to the room. Ok was large and confortable but after 1 hour the light shut down. No emergency lights.... Someone tried to go inside our room and only 3 Hours later the light come back. There was no hot water in the... More

We stayed at Moenkopi Legay Inn on 7/22. It was the nicest hotel we've used during the first 9 days of our vacation. I read that this hotel is the first new one built in Navajo Nation in 50 years. Our desk clerk was smiling, pleasant and very helpful. Later we asked for a recommendation for supper and were directed... More

This is a medium priced new facility in a striking environment- the throat of the Grand Canyon access from east to north or south rims, Monument Valley to the north, Hopi Mesas to the east. Generous space in rooms [I think 12 ft ceilings], well designed bath. Staff is soooo new- still learning the ropes and a little rough. Friendly,... More

The hotel complex looks very attractive, with all the usual Southwest decoration. It was perfectly clean and the room was big and nicely laid out. The AC worked fine and so did everything in the bathroom. I personally was very disturbed however by the homeless and emaciated dogs at the hotel entrance. Signs said "do not feed" but obviously management... More

While this hotel appears large and luxurious, it misses the mark in terms of customer service and warmth. For the price, one would expect a much better continental breakfast; we found it to be limited, with few healthy choices. Many hotel bathroom dispensers were either out-of-order or empty. Internet was slow, calls on the room phone system difficult to manage.... More

I was pass though to the Grand Canyon. Needed an overnight stay. Grand Canyon is about 1.5 hours away. Pro: rooms are big, clean, outside pool is nice and clean. Cons: tall ceilings so light is dim, bathroom vanity is small. Girls are the front desk are not to friendly. Denny next door, do you can eat your dinner there.
