Stopped for the night in Tuba City because Kayenta was sold out! As it turned out, so was Tuba City. A young woman at one the motels suggested the GreyHills Inn. "$35 night, and the bathrooms are down the hall." Preferring not to sleep in the car, I went in search of the illusive Inn. Which took awhile because it's... More

Like other people had said, it looks and feels like a horror film set lol. Besides that, it is a cheap and comfy option if you are doing a roadtrip around Grand Canyon area and you only want to spend the night in clean and practical place. Despite all of it, i did kind of like it, I made jokes... More

If you want a "regular" hotel, This ain't it! It's attached to a school and though staffed by adults, is where student learn to run a hotel. It's an old school building, sturdy, not very homey, but it's clean. Bathrooms are like you remember in gym class, but without open stalls. If you want "traditional" go up the street, and... More

dirty smelly rooms. Leaky windows that lead to a high noise level. Not helpful staff. Poor Internet connection. Air conditioning can be switched only centrally and is therefore very cold and noisy. Definitely not recommended.

It was the only place in town with vacant rooms so we were glad to find it. In fairness we slept ok, the beds were clean but the air con system was somewhat bizarre. This is basic college dorm accommodation without the students with shared toilets and showers. We paid 71 bucks for a large 3 bed room which seemed... More

i was positively surprised by this motel. It didn't look very nice from the outside - actually it was dark there, because we got there about 9 p.m. The motel is placed in a school building - it was renovated of course. Me and my boyfriend were going from Monument Valley and looking for some place to sleep. In this... More

We stumbled on this place, when every where else in the area was booked up, I was alittle worried at first, because I did not know what to expect, but needing to bed down for the night decided to give it a go, must say it was an experience, the room was very large, clean and with a tv, I... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed one night in this hostel during our trip in USA. This is a former high school, so the rooms are available only in the periods of school closure. This is the cheapest accomodation in the surroundings of tuba city.... nothing special, but not so bad, at the end. The room was clean and confortable, TV... More

We stayed at this former high school / training facility motel one night. It reminded us of our university room: grey brick walls, shared bathrooms and toilets. The room was ok, with TV and sink, apparently clean. We slept well. The positive point was definitely the price: 60 dollars, a bargain.

I've stayed at Greyhills for two five-day sessions. We were on a church mission trip serving alongside one of the churches in Tuba City. it's very important to know it's on the campus of a boarding vocational school; my understanding is that some of the staff are students learning tourism management. The Inn is a converted dormitory that was switched... More
