My boyfriend and I have been traveling around AZ checking out marinas at the lakes and this one is the worst. It's where boats go to die. It's a great lake, but the marina is a shame. It's dirty, broken down and the boats there are in pretty bad shape. I was waiting for a kid to come out on... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for my husband’s birthday and was really excited to do so. There’s an onsite store for ice beer etc. and a restaurant and bar come in really handy since the drive up and down the mountain are pretty rough and there is nothing else close enough to get up and drive to. The beach... More

The reviews here seem to be couched in polite wording, i have no idea why that is, but here is the scoop. No tv remote control. Was told they have no 'extras'. No blanket, just the bed cover and sheets. Can see right through the curtain, so the bed cover had to be draped over the window. Worst tv reception... More

It's not 4 star hotel but it's great for what it is - simple accommodations in a stunning setting on Lake Apache. I stayed in the old part of the hotel and had a great view of the sunset over the lake. The restaurant food is very good and accommodating (I'm a vegetarian). We were part of a big crowd... More

Well, it was a roof over our heads. Really the bare necessity. We were happy to spend the night after such a long and amazing drive on the Aiache Trail. It's the only hotel on the lake that we knew about. Great camping nearby if you have a tent or small trailer. Room had clean towels, no phone, manual TV,... More

My wife and i stayed at Apache Lake Resort in one of the Motel Rooms. Much to my surprise there was no coffee pot in the room and hotel guest had to purchase Ice for $4.00 per bag. But you had no place to put the ice after you purchased it. I asked the lady running the front desk, she... More

Great location with a great view but cannot give high grade for the accommodation or the management. for starters, the front door was cracked and you can see the light coming through the wide gap. Just imagine all the bugs and critters that can freely come into the room! Beds were old and mattress springs were popping out and they... More

Visited the resort during two separate hiking sessions in this beautiful area. The main resort staff were very helpful and courteous and went out if their way to be pleasant. Considering the remoteness of location and lack of supplies the dining room, chefs and serving staff did an exceptional job and made a terrific effort to accommodate our groups dietary... More

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. It's rustic but that's okay it makes it very quaint! The food was excellent, the lake is amazing and even the locals were very friendly. If your looking for a remote place to get away and leave it all behind I would recommend this place highly!

Don't expect much if you're used to mini-fridges, microwaves, and comfortable bedding with your room. This place is much better designed for the rugged individualist. Fisher people stay here as do some weekend mountain and lake explorers. Facility is old and the rooms all have glitches. Upper rooms have balconies overlooking Apache Lake and the mountains. Kind of a pretty... More
