Excellent attention. A beautiful place to rest, with a unique sunrise view and rooms that are too comfortable. Lobo is very helpful and will help you with whatever you need. You have to notify in advance for the Sauna to work (because it is made of firewood). It does not have its own parking, but you can leave the vehicle outside the hotel, it is too quiet and very safe (checked). It is a couple of minutes from the city center. In short, we will be back soon Lobo.

What a dreamy bungalow! After a windy van ride from Antigua to Lake Atitlan and a hectic tuk-tuk ride up to this place, we were greeted very warmly by Lobo who welcomed us into our charming bungalow. The two-story bungalow (kitchen and bathroom on first floor, bedroom and balcony on second) exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean, well-decorated, well-equipped, cozy, classy, sturdy, and what amazing views of the lake! Lobo gave us at our through to the beautiful pool, sauna and the beer/wine supply is well stocked. It was only a 20 minute very slow stroll downhill to the main touristic part of the town, and we loved having an oasis away from the loud, bustling streets of the main part of town. The walk felt perfectly safe, and if feeling lazy, there are plenty of tuk-tuks that can bring you to and from Casa Lobo for just around $2 total per ride. We are very grateful for Lobo's hospitality, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay (and more!). He really knows how to take care of the space, and is so welcoming and a cool guy. Mucho gracias!!

Casa Lobo is an artistic, beautifully curated gem in San Pedro. Our plan was to stay there one night, but immediately after walking into his oasis decided to cancel our other reservations so we could stay there four nights. Every detail of the place has been placed with care for those people who want to live life to the fullest without pretentiousness, soak in the small luxuries of life: have a cup of French press coffee on your private porch, make breakfast in the little kitchenette, catch the sunset in the hammocks on the rooftop deck overlooking all of the lake (Torre 1 & 2), sweat it out in the sauna followed by a cold plunge in the pool, 20-minute walk to town or you can hail a tuc tuc. Lobo is happy to help answer questions/ make suggestions. We asked about a dinner reservation and he recommended his favorite restaurant El Gato Perdido and it was hands down our favorite meal there. Quiet, quaint and the perfect place to truly unwind and spend a special holiday. When we return to the lake, this is where we’ll be staying. 💗💗 -jess & los Chicago, Puerto Rico, Denver

First off, I would highly recommend this place; especially if you prefer a quieter, modern and nicer place. Most of the accommodations in the city seemed dated, loud and hostel-like. We walked into town from Casa Lobo a few times and it was a scenic and enjoyable (15 minute) walk. If you take the tuk-tuk, it’s only 5-10q, depending on the time. The pool was very, very close to being completed, and really just needed a deck. However, I took a dip anyway and found the pool to be very refreshing! Inside was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities needed... refrigerator, stove, sink, utensils, etc. We stayed in torre 3 and was two levels. The main floor had kitchen and bathroom. The second floor had a small sitting area, bedroom and TV. There was also a large, wrap-around porch outside the bedroom with hammock and sitting area. There is no restaurant on site, but that was not an issue as we ate in town every day. But there are drinks and beers available in the communal area for a very inexpensive cost. The host was very accommodating and friendly. He even arranged for our private taxi back to Guatemala City, which was greatly appreciated!

What a wonderful place! Lobo has thought of everything to make the place comfortable and welcoming. There's filtered water, more than enough soft towels, and plenty of space to relax (our unit had TWO king-size beds). It's hard to not feel relaxed in the unit, but the hammocks on the rooftop or the sauna will help with any remaining stress. The locked gate made us feel secure throughout our stay, although there was nothing in the area to make us nervous. Oh yeah, and THE VIEW! One thing to note: it's a 20 minute walk to town, and the tips about tuk-tuks ending by 11PM are very, very accurate. If you stay out late, just plan to make the walk home.
