I had the pleasure of staying at Isle Verde for a yoga retreat Jan. 2017. What a great way to start the year. The staff was amazing, so attentive, especially the manager Ollie, who spent many hours on the phone coordinating the rescue of my luggage that was delayed by United. I really never thought it would make it the...

I really loved my stay at Isla Verde. I came as a solo female traveler which was a little out of place but I'm scouting locations for yoga retreats, and this spot is PERFECT! It's the right amount of adventure (having to take a boat to get there) and seclusion. I stayed in a small treehouse with the shared bathroom...

So, my wife and I stayed here for 5 nights this past week and feel that, for the most part, this is an amazing, little place. The food, first of all, is absolutely AMAZING! That was the highlight of our trip. The service is equally amazing. Not having stayed in a true eco hotel before, the ONLY "complaints" we had...

The location is very nice and you they do have their own pier so you can tell the boat taxis to take you their private pier. The rooms were average but if you're looking for an economical place to stay then this is the place to you. Our room did not have heating (Room #5). I'm not sure any of...

The surrounding is magnificent! The terrace with sun beds looking over the lake, the hammock room full of flowers, the pier for swimming, the yoga studio, the restaurant - everything is so classy and value for money. In the evenings and if it is rainy they light up a fire inside and tons of candles. We loved it!!! The food...

This really is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Everything about my stay I thoroughly enjoyed, from the stunning sweeping vista from my extremely comfortable cabin, to the hotel's beautifully quiet location in a tranquil corner of Lake Atitlan. It's a bit of a hike to get to the cabins, but once you arrive you realise it...

Hotel Isla Verde is a little slice of heaven. This quaint, quiet, cozy hotel nestled lakeside in Santa Cruz is a delightful place to stay. I have stayed here several times with my family and friends. As soon as I leave I am always trying to figure out how I can make my next visit. The rooms are comfortable, cozy...

Beautiful layout, people & energy. I loved the cabins, the hike up to them was worth it. Cool outdoor shower attached to our room. Lovely restaurant serving delicious food every night. I highly recommend staying at this peaceful place on the lake.

Came with a friend for a night. The property is really beautiful with a lakeside terrace that gets a super nice breeze at night and a lovely restaurant. Even though it's a hike to the rooms they have been done nicely and feature great views. Only complaint is that the public boats close at 5pm so you're effectively stuck at...
