I had the San Pedro room, but all the rooms have beautiful views of the lake. Several things - this is a place where you need to give yourself time to watch the views. It is calm and peaceful, and there are terraces and balconies that give different angles of the lake. You can also get a launch to a... More

I was lucky enough to stay at this property. The price is very affordable and it includes a free breakfast. What sets this place apart is the amazing view it provides. It is heaven on earth. I recommend that you take a boat to Tzununa and then take a tuk-tuk to the hotel. Do not attempt to take the stairs.... More

I spent two night at Lomas and loved every minute of it. After climbing up the more than 300 steps and having a quick and uncomplicated check in the view could be enjoyed from the balcony of the spacious room. The luggage is well taken care for so no worry about carrying it up :) The panorama changes quick and... More

The views are incredible and well worth the 350 steps up the cliff. I would come back here in a heartbeat. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and it was incredible as we saw a distant volcano erupting. The hotel is very clean with a lovely restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed taking the kayaks, swimming, and jumping off of... More

For the price, the hotel is amazing. The ownership is very capable and friendly, the rooms are super clean, and the views are AMAZING. This hotel is only accessible by boat, and there are 325 steps straight up to get there, but its worth it. The food is great too. I will be back very soon!

Hello, thank you so much for your review! The hotel is accessible by boat and by car from a very bad road. But if you don´t want to hike the stairs up you can go to Tzununá main pier and from there take a Tuc Tuc to the Hotel. The Tuc Tuc must say Tzununá they are the only ones... More

Really nice and quiet place, very secluded if you're looking for tranquility. Walk to nearest small town (Tzununa) is about 20 min, and San Marcos is another 20/30 min walking, although you can take a boat there in about 10 min. Walk up from the boat dock is a good workout, so not recommended for those with lots of luggage... More

Thank you so much for your nice review! We always help with the luggage up the stairs. You can call from an inter phone located at the pier. The view from the hotel is spectacular! I can't even describe it in words. The outside area is nice and cozy - we loved every second of it. The staff are nice, the rooms are good (but can be cleaner) and the food is also good. I would say however, that the prices of both the accommodation, as well as... More

Thank you so much for your review! The suggestions help us improve. As per last week we changed all the curtains and bed covers of all the rooms. We are changing all the roofs and will be paying attention to other details you mention to improve. As per the prices it depends with what you are comparing them. You pay... More

This little jewel of a hotel is a fantastic place to come and enjoy the beautiful Lago de Atitlan. It is a bit out of the way from other travellers and the more busy tourist sites, but that was just what we wanted. And nothing is further away than a short boat ride. Do you self a favour and come... More

Ok, first things first, take the boat to the main Tzununa pier and get a mototaxi (tuk-tuk) to the hotel. That will cost you 15 Quetzales ( about $2) and save you the embarrassment of being totally outclassed physically by a 5 foot nothing Maya kid who will carry at least twice your burden up the 350 rocky, steep steps...
