We had such a great stay at the Mirador in a sweet cabina. The owner helped me figure out the best way to get there from Pavones, picked us up at the boat landing, and drove us up the precariously wonderful hill to the cabinas in his atv. Meals were delicious and rooms were everything you needed and very clean. The owner helped us book 2 great tours, one to Canos island snorkeling, and the next day hiking in Concorvado National Park. We had little time to spare to catch the boat back, so he brought our luggage down to us at the boat landing upon our return from the park. A wonderful experience and above and beyond in hospitality and helpfulness. If you are going to Bahía Drake, stay at this wonderful, affordable, no frills lodge. We loved it!

Thank you very much mikael for 3days in tour little paradise. Everyday with one "good afternoon" and one smile. Perfect cabins in the jungle and up the beach. Beds really confortable. Excellent breakfast and good dinner. Our kids had a great time with hillary and kevin. Gracias! Pura vida!

Beautiful, family-ran hostel. The views were amazing, the location is ideal and the owner was extremely helpful in organising within and outside of Drake Bay. Great homemade dinner and breakfast and great value for money!

This family owned business consists of open air rooms with few amenities but economically priced. The staff (owners) were very helpful, even moving us further away from the road due to noise. They helped us with the washing of our dirty backpacking clothes! The food was served promptly and prepared well. They organized our hike in the park, which we got lucky with a small group and an excellent guide(Roy). He was friendly and very knowledgeable and went out of his way so we could see a Tapir. They also scheduled our snorkeling. Which was also fabulous. Getting to Drake Bay is an adventure. Staying here was as well!

El Mirador had everything we hoped for and more. Incredible views, very helpful and friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere. Nothing fancy or frilly, but honestly, for the price and the views, it's a bargain. Don't hesitate to stay here!
