Imagine riding on a boat, up the coast of Costa Rica to a spot that you literally can not believe is real. The locals hold the boat as you hop off, knee deep in the beautiful sea and in utter disbelief. This is how you arrive to Jinetes de Osa Hotel and it is something you will talk about for... More

Curious little place. Small open air breakfast/dining area. Doesn't seem to be many rooms. Right on the beachfront. Lunch and dinner on offer are not fantastic but ok. Breakfast was pretty good. Organised snorkel and diving trip was very successful and we saw several whales. Staff were fine, didn't experience the pushiness others have mentioned. It's all a bit basic... More

We stayed in a very beautiful, clean and very spacious room with A/C. The breakfast included in the price of the room is a buffet where you can order a cooked breakfast + help yourself with fruits, bread, pastries etc. I loved it! The staff is very thoughtful, very nice. We did a few tours such as Diving and snorkeling... More

Superb location, staff, food, diving, & rooms....the bar is feet from the water & has a fun, relaxing atmosphere! Nice seating area above the bar with hammocks. Excellent food, fresh seafood, large menu selection with a variety.....breakfast is a generous serving, always with fresh fruit. We love the traditional breakfast with rice, Beans, eggs....coffee is the best!!! Looking forward to... More

Everything from the hotel, location, staff, and food was incredible. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for- we stayed 3 nights. The location is great- walking distance to everything that we needed. The staff was great and made everything seamless. They were able to book all of our excursions and took the time to talk to us. We... More

From the time I started planning to the last day at Jinetes de Osa Hotel, the staff made all things seamless. They made all arrangements for excursions and travel from and to San Jose. Carlos, Rolando and Michael were very helpful. Giovanni and Erick made the snorkeling and dive excursion exciting and safe. Roy was an excellent guide to Corcovado.... More

We were there in March 2016, during what many people said was a period of extreme heat and humidity. The location is lovely, at the start of the trail system that winds around the coastline passing numerous beaches. The breakfast was quite good. Meals in general were very good, but pricy, keep that in mind. Originally we were to have... More

We stayed here for three nights, and the service the whole time was great. The location is a little further "out of town" but walking to the main road entering Drake (where the main supermarkets/restaurants are) only takes about 15 minutes. I think there is a back road that connects if you were to drive. Making the booking was easy,... More

We have just spent 3 nights at this hotel. Food was exceptionally good, location perfect and staff super friendly and helpful. Room basic but had rustic charm, fans, no air conditioning but clean and well kept. Only criticism is the fans weren't that effective during hot nights, but we still managed to sleep well. Could do with much thicker curtains... More
