You have to boat into this charming inn, run by Bradd and staffed by friendly helpful people. the setting is picture perfect, but you do have to climb to your room but it is worth the trip because the view is magnificent. Many trips can be arranged and you see birds, animals, plants, insects, frogs etc you would never see,...

Seventeen years ago we took our teenagers to Aguila de Osa. Last week, when my husband and I returned we were thrilled to find ADO was thriving, updated, and even more wonderful than we remembered. That doesn't happen often after years of dreaming of a vacation spot. The food, the staff, the guests, the views from our room, the expeditions,...

My friends and I have been coming to Aguila de Osa for almost 20 years. I have travelled all over Costa Rica and quite simply this is my favorite place in the country. We stayed in room 14 which is the suite. Since last year there are new beds, a new shower , a new bathroom and a wet bar....

I love the intimacy of this resort. You feel like you are at a private home with the happy hour every day and everyone sitting down for dinner together to discuss their adventures that day!! We met people from all over the world. Love the kayaking down the river, the jungle hikes, the beach and all the wildlife around you....

Before we arrived there was an issue with debiting funds from my credit card and I was concerned about the place. There was no need. I have rarely felt so beautifully looked-after anywhere in the world. All the staff have been with the hotel for years, and what at first glance appeared a bit saccharine - remembering all our names!...

During my recent stay at the Aguila de Osa Inn, I truly had one of the best experiences of my lifetime. The staff exuded the utmost professionalism. They were all above and beyond respectful and mindful of their guests every little need. In my opinion, the grounds as well as the views from all areas of the hotel were as...

My friend and I just returned from 8 days at Aguila de Osa Inn. It would take a true “word smith” to describe the experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, we were made to feel like family. Brad, the owner, is one of the most “down to earth” people I have ever met. He exhibits...

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is very remote and does not have all of the comforts such as AC or TV but for us the point was to get away and experience the surroundings. The hotel itself is beautifully hand crafted and surrounded by incredible nature. The screened...

My spouse Marion and I stayed at the lodge from December 30 to January 04. It turned out to be THE highlight of our Costa Rica trip. Fauna and Flora are sheer overwhelming,, you are surrounded by nature at its very best combined with all the comfort a premium accomodation can offer. The opportunities for trips and excursions are plentiful,...
