Costa Rica is beautiful, but Aguila de Osa is a jewel in the crown. My husband and I had the most wonderful 6 days, with 3 days of diving with Ki Ke. We saw fish, fish, more fish and then even more schools of fish! Rays and white tipped sharks are in abundance and the fish

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour of Costa Rica. This hotel was first class. There are 13 individual cabins - beautifully appointed. The food was excellent and our host (Olman) looked after us impeccably. Evening meal was a social experience where you can sit

Hi Phil, Not a problem you can fish in front of the hotel and this would be fishing the river mouth or 5 minute walk and fish the in Bay. You're better off booking before hand just because the park and Island now needs reservations. On other tours not so necessary but it would be good to mention what your interested in because some tours need 4 people to operate the tour if we know your interested in this type of tour we can be on the lookout for others that might be interested. BTW sorry for taking so long to answer your questions.

Hi Machumb my name is Bradd owner of the hotel. I've been here over 25years and I've never had to put on bug spray. I've had guest like you and I've sat. right next to them and there getting bit not with mosquitos seems like it's no see ems. I've never had to many complaints at all specially in the rooms about mosquitos. I would bring bug spry in your chase you really won't need a mosquito net for the bed. Thanks for the question an I look forward meeting if you decide to come to Aguila. If there's any other questions please don't hesitate to get back with me.

Hi I think staying at Aguila you have to be some what mobile there are about 80 stairs to climb to the rooms. Not sure when you're thinking of coming makes a difference our hottest months are March and April. I have fans for the reason is I want people to hear the ocean the birds in the morning and evening and the jungle sounds at night,. I don't get many people that have problems with the heat we are in the tropics. There's a few deserted beaches around a short walking distance they don't have chairs or we can take you to a beach by boat to one Costa Rica's most beautiful with all kinds of wild life but there is a charge for the boat ride. If you have any other question I'll be more than happy to answer you can write to us from our website.

Going to Osa we drove about 2.5 hours from Manuel Antonio to a town called Serpe and then took a 20-30 min boat ride to the hotel. Leaving Osa we flew to San Jose. It's a 5 min boat ride, then a 20-30 min car ride to the airport and a 45 minute flight in a tiny plane. Other people were driving back to San Jose and they had to take the 20-30 min boat ride back to Serpe and then said it was about a 3 hr drive to San Jose. I don't know how long it actually took them though. Not sure where Si Como No is.
