This accommodation is a home stay with Edu and his young family living in wooden cabins in the jungle . The cabins themselves are basic but clean and comfortable , there is a book exchange , fridge for beers and the ability to cook a basic meal for yourselves in the communal area .Edu will cook with notice and the...

It is a very basic but clean accommodation with friendly hosts. We especially liked the location close to the sea and the jungle with lots of birds and other wildlife. There is a possibility, which we highly recommend, to eat there. Every day the food is prepared fresh and served at your table and there are also wine, cold beer...

We loved our time at Rio Drake Farm. Edu and Sabrina and their beautiful girls were gracious and helpful and made our first days in Costa Rica unforgettable. The food was delicious, wildlife plentiful, and kindness abound! We highly recommend it.

We stayed 4 nights at the Rio Drake Farm this end of May/beginning of June and even though it was the rainy season and we got a few showers, we have to say it was really great to be there. Edu and Sabrina are very nice hosts, they know very well the place, the surrounding nature, you see they want...

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the farm. If you don't need 5 star amenities, and have a sense of adventure, do yourself a favor and stay here. We arrived via a Nature Air flight which is the start of the adventure. You land on a gravel runway, complete with mud puddles. Wow! Edu met us at the...

I would highly recommend staying at Rio Drake! We were there with a family of 7 (4 kids 7,9,11 and grandparents) for 4 days and we were so happy we chose to stay there. The rooms were the cleanest we stayed in and the property was peaceful and wonderfully maintained. There are multiple places to lounge in hammocks and enjoy...

Edu and Sabrina have created a wonderful atmosphere of peace and tranquility here. The property itself is hard to summarize. It is a wildlife haven and a working farm. It isn't really a beach resort, but you can walk to the beach in a few minutes via a jungle trail and suspension bridge over a lagoon. You can hear the...

Our stay at Rio Drake Farm was lovely. Edu and Sabrina were wonderful hosts, they worked around the clock booking us tours, preparing meals and making sure we got to wherever we needed to be on time. They had a very strong knowledge of the natural history in the area which was really helpful. The area was beautiful and there...

The hotel is located close to Corcovado National Park. The host of the hotel takes care of organising your admission to the park and is also driving you to the pier for the boat trip to the park and getting you back to the hotel. The small airport is very close, anyway it is very quiet since there is maybe...

Edu and Sabrina are lovely hosts and little Liana is so sweet!
