Clean hostel with great atmosphere. We offer: 4 dormitories, 5 rooms with shared bath for 2-3 persons, 2 single rooms, and 2 rooms with private bath. Our hostel is a 2 minutes walk to beach and supermarkets. We offer the biggest choice of tours in the area: Corcovado Nationalpark, Cano Island, around Drake Bay and different overnight tours. You will find a fully equipped kitchen for self cooking with coffee, tea, oil, salt and sugar for free use. Our services include: hot water showers, good WiFi, hammocks, free parking and luggage storage. There is no bank or ATM in Drake Bay. Bring enough cash or pay with card (+4% banking fee). Martina’s Place was a great spot to stay for our time in Drake Bay. The beds were comfortable and had good fans to cool off. The location is perfect and there’s restaurants eateries around; but the comunal kitchen has a few items to cook with if you decide to make your own food. The staff are very friendly and helpful with making activity bookings. Loved our time there!

The owners took care of everything for me. They booked diving and an overnight Corcovado tour for me before I even paid to stay at martinas. I also left a favorite tshirt after my stay and they washed it for me and got it to a friend so she could get it back to me. They also lent me rubber boots for Corcovado knowing how muddy it would be. They went above and beyond for everything as hosts. The location was perfect to get to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Pura Vida Vincent and Gabriella!

Nice atmosphere, very clean, comfy mattress, beautiful and big kitchen with plenty of cooking tools and big fridges. It was not crowded. I slept in 8-beds mixed dorm with ensuite toilet and shower : there was good space for everyone. I stayed one week and they wanted to put new bedsheets already after two nights (which I refused). Reception staff can arrange tours and also book either the boat to Sierpe or the 4 am morning bus to La Palma (2 hrs). Very quiet at night and excellent location, not far from boat landing nor from supermarkets or sodas. Very recommended.

The only positive part surely is the location. Only a few minutes from the beach. The rooms are small, smell old and the fan stopped working during night. Checkout already at 9 in the morning with the cleaning team basically kicking you out. The owner as well quite unfriendly and doesnt really care whats going on at his place.
If you are really desperate to find a place, you can stay for one night but thats about it.
P.S. For the same price you will get an ocenview bungalow 10 meters to the right at Cabinas Murillo!!

My sister and I stayed here for a night. The rooms are super clean and have so many fans in the dorm room. The receptionist was super helpful and gave us loads of information. We didnt realise checkout was 9am and the cleaning lady was super friendly and let us finish breakfast and checkout at 10. We got free lockers to store our bags during the day. I am amazed by how clean and chill this hostel is, would defiantly recommend

Located right in the middle of everything, this place is champion of simple but clean and good. Vincent and the rest of the staff are very helpful with booking trips and just general tips and information. The friendly hostel dogs&cats were a big bonus for me.

We were there for 2 nights. It’s a nice hostel with lovely staff. We booked our trip to Corcovado directly with the owner Vincent and our guide was his wife Gabi. She did s great job. Thanks for that.

We spent 3 Nights at this hostel and really enjoyed our stay. The Host is super friendly and helpful with any questions you mights have. Rooms, kitchen and Bathroom are clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is really nice- only around 3min to the beach! Also the two big dogs are a huge plus- they joined us for a 4h walk along the coast and stuck with us all the way. The atmosphere is also very nice, there are always many people sitting together and getting to know eachother. But still it is quiet after around 10pm.

Yes there is a airport shuttle which we can organize for you. Also we offer complete tours into Corcovado, including entrance tickets, lunch, guide and a group of max.8 people with english/spanish speaking licenced nature guide.
From Sierpe boats are leaving at 10.30am ($15p.p.) and 3.30pm ($20p.p.) to Drake Bay.
Sheets are always provided. Private rooms have towels included, dorm guests can rent a towel for $2.
