The house was super clean, confortable beds with A/C in each rooms, well organise with games and coloring books for kids, even n’inoculâtes were accessible to see thé sils Life of the surroundings. Open air kitchen was Nice for cooking with all the necessary équipement and mostly All new appliances. Cathy and Bennett live right next to the house so super safe and very reactive. They took care of organizing our trip to Corcovado park (miraculously because we were a little late - book in advance!). There are trails directly from the house to walk to Cocolito beach and other beaches close by if you have a 4x4 car. We would definitely go back anytime.Thank you infinitely for your kind words! It was such a pleasure hosting your family, and getting to know each of you! We had happy hour with Craig and Jamie.... that started an instant friendship! The house is really well set up and isn’t missing a thing, so fun to stay in a mint typical Tico home. We made the trip to Drake Bay for 2 days of fishing and Jamie made the water taxi reservations for us, she is extremely helpful with anything you made need. Craig and I hit it off instantly with our common interests in fishing. On our last night we supplied some Tuna we caught and Craig and Jamie prepared an entire meal for us, that was so kind and delicious! If you are headed to Drake Bay this is definitely a must stay for accommodations! I can’t wait to return next year. Doug & Patti Heinrich British Columbia,Canada eh!Hola! The water is fabulous and across the street so you're in and out as often as you like. We came at the end of March so the heat was surprising and we were saved by the AC in the rooms. Lots of excursions leaving from the beach or you can kick back and enjoy the wildlife from the deck. This was a really good idea.Thank you for your kind words. We were met by Craig on the beach after Jamie and Craig helped us negotiate the boat from Sierpe and safe parking there. We were very glad about this as the dock at Sierpe dies slightly resembled the space port ruled by JAbba the Hut. There was even a dodgy scruffy American telling us we had to pay park entrance fee to him in Sierpe Ignore him evil trickster. On arrival Craig was waiting to walk us the 3 mins walk to our beautiful 3 bedroom holiday home. We were met by Jamie who kindly walked me about town and let my tour operator know I had arrived. The house itself is spotlessly clean and despite my children’s best attempts from snorkelling, horse riding and an overnight trip to Corcovado it stayed like that. It was like having magic faires every small detail was dealt with including moving my washing so it dried. Jamie provided lovely fruit, some coffee, toiletries and as much filtered water as needed. It even has WiFi much to the kids delight as they could send the photos they had of sloths, monkeys, tapirs, anteater and beautiful birds to their friends in Scotland. We are very widely traveled but this was a real jewel and that is mainly because Craig and Jamie actually care and want you to enjoy all the opportunities . We can not thank you enough for opening your home to us. As a mum the space and facilities just to get a things washed / dried made things much easier. There are many good restaurants all with great cocktails smoothies.ice cream shakes for the kids we are just touring as a family with a 4WD car and we would fully recommend it if you have multiple excursions to fit in.we stayed 4 nights did the overnight in Corcovado, snorkelling today to see turtles,shark lots of dolphins and beautiful reef fish and a horse ride to a waterfall tomorrow. All the trips finish at the beach so you are never more than a 3 min walk to pickup point. They are all small group or just set up for my family so you can be confident that you well get the best experience available If your wondering at being more adventurous with you kids. Go for it.It is worth the forms and the tests.The whole family is brimming with happiness…

Jamie and Craig were absolutely the best hosts! They worked with us for over 9 months as we planned the trip and then our arrival. Jamie organized the tours and made sure we had everything we needed for each one. We were able to completely unwind and enjoy our vacation stress free. Drake Bay is an incredible little place, and Craig & Jamie made sure that we got the most out of our time there. Upon arrival, Jamie showed us around the town and both were always more than willing to answer questions and give suggestions. No matter what time we needed to wake up, they were always up ahead of us to have a full breakfast on the table (as early as 5am and 6am). They were interesting people and were more than happy to share many of the stories they have from living in the area for nearly two decades. They're the reason Casita Corcovado is such a great place to stay. The house is pretty basic, but one should not spend too much time there with everything there is to do in the area. No A/C in central space or kitchen, but each bedroom has a new A/C unit that can cool the room in just a minutes. The location is also pretty good - just a short walk to both the beach and the town.…

We were a party of 5 and found peace at this wonderful bungalow in Drakes Bay. Jamie and Craig couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed the trip to the national park, the snorkeling of Cano island and of course not to be missed Tacie the bug lady. A perfect location to enjoy the very special place. Thank you.

We are fairly experienced global travellers and we consider our stay at Casita Corcovado to have been one of our favourite places. Craig and Jamie are amazing hosts at the top of their game. Their warmth,local knowledge, hospitality are all 10/10.Their breakfasts are world class yummy . The whole place is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Our fishing and snorkeling trip with Craig and David was fantastic! Craig and Jamie will be locked in our memories as a highlight of our month in CR.

We stayed in Casita for one night. Very close to the beach , Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Jamie and Craig booked us a trip to cano island and went with us to the beach to make sure we get on the right ferry back. They are really nice people. Highly recommended.
