My wife and I are on our last night at this funky, bohemian lodge nestled in between the surfer paid ice of Dominical and Uvita. Right off the main Pacific highway we have had 13 wonderful nights nestled in our"Monkey Loft". After confirming with a friend from Denver Diane had us research this 5 room gem of a boutique resort....

We are staying at Costa Paraiso now, on our 4th or 8 nights here. Let me start with the positives. PROS: The Toucan's Nest has a great patio with a small ocean view. You can hear the waves crashing on the iron shore from your hammock, it's very relaxing. The food is very good here. The beach to the left...

Spent a week here, right during Hurricane Otto and aftermath. It was actually pleasant in full-on rain, made for great sleeping. My favorite was being lulled to sleep by the crashing surf. Food great, staff kind and helpful

We were travelling with another family with children. There are only I believe five guest rooms, which are very private and charming- I loved the beach we had access to from the hotel- other than an evening soccer game among locals on the beach, there was nobody else. The restaurant, Porque No? was delicious, service was good. The grounds and...

Much appreciated your lovely comment. Costa Paraiso is special for families, couples and for stay by solo. Our beach access is convenient, plus if you have kids because Dominicalito is beautiful and quiet. More than happy you enjoyed the food, view and service of PorQue No? Looking forward to your next visit, Cheers!

We stayed in the hotel "coconut" room. Perfect for us. A little hard to figure out the shower temperatures. Lovely beds. Great night's sleep. Food terrific too! Fantastic views. After a great meal, take a walk on the beautiful Playa Dominicalito.

This tranquil, modestly luxurious local is a perfect stop off for any traveler on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. I have been stopping by CP for the last 12 years and it has always been just what the doctor ordered. Beautifully landscaped, with the Pacific offering up great sounds and visuals out the front door. The newer kitchen offers...

I stayed in the Toucan Nest with my girlfriend in July 2016 and we had made our plans relatively late for the trip so Costa Paraiso was one of the only options we had available after searching online... and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The day after booking we already had received correspondence from Andrea regarding the reservation...

We had a lovely week. Good food, helpful and personalised service, beautiful surroundings, nice pool which we mainly had to ourselves. The staff good English and arranged flowers for a birthday and then an anniversary celebration, and gave us good advice about where to go in the local area for adventures and shopping and meals. We felt very well looked...

Beautiful, amazing, breathtaking and super romantic! Staff had said we could stay long and invited us to "take advantage" of the getaway. We toyed with the idea and finally convinced ourselves that we deserved a second night; however when we went to confirm, they said it was already reserved. Sad. As we had been motivated to stay, and then denied the opportunity....

“When we first arrived at our room, it had not been cleaned. We had to wait for them to remove a bed and clean up after the others "mess". It was a bit e harassing and uncomfortable to walk into. They got things cleaned up, though you could tell it was not "housekeeping" standards. We made the most of our time and got to open the bar. What a beautiful setting! Later, they informed that our room was indeed ready! The view was breathtaking, the sound of waves incredible, the food remarkable. ”
