The road to the "guest ranch" is the first nightmare to navigate, without a 4-wheel drive. The room was reasonably large, and while quaint as one would expect, was dusty. The buildings, dining room, etc. are NOT wheelchair accessible, as we were led to believe. Yes, there are wooden walkways, no there are no ramps to get onto or off of these boardwalks. The mountain view room, which cost us extra, was obscured by a large tree/bush thing. The food was mediocre at best, of tv dinner quality. No cowboy breakfast chuckwagon, as advertised. Entertainment was an old guy playing guitar and mumbling to the "music". The activities were nonexistent...the promised and much anticipated trail ride with cattle, as was discussed on numerous phone calls prior to and during booking, as to what was required, etc. wasn't available at the time of our stay. We weren't told they only happen twice a year until we arrived. That was our main reason for visiting!! The horseback ride offered and paid extra for, was dangerous, over steep, rocky terrain. The fat and elderly horse was incorrectly saddled, so that the saddle slipped sideways, the horse stumbled, and the rider was unseated onto his back on the rocks. They offered a pitcher of ice water, free of charge, afterwards. If it matters to you, there is only a beer and wine liquor license. We only stayed the first night we arrived and left after the horseback ride incident the next day. Forfeiting the pre-paid remaining 2 days was a small price to pay. My advice, stay in Old Tombstone at one of the nice, hotels/motels B & B's and enjoy the old town from there.

We have wanted to stay at a guest ranch and this one lived up to our expectations. It had a very western feel, looks like something out of an old movie. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night. Sunday night was a guitarist who played an 18 string and sang great old songs. Monday night was poker (all for fun) and it was so much fun. In the morning they had cowboy coffee at the chuckwagon, served my Diamond Jim who tells great old stories.

The ranch is a short drive from Tombstone town. We didn't join any ranch activities but we wanted to visit this iconic place. We loved old west vibe. Good breakfast and a very good dinner at the saloon with live music. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! The rooms are great, the service is AMAZING! Meals are wonderful! The activities change everyday so make sure to ask which activities are available at check in. All of the wranglers are super nice! JC gave us a great tour on the UTV and Abigail was amazing on the trail ride! I would highly recommend this place if you are planning a visit to Tombstone!

It's like a little western town right next to a little western town! This place would be worth staying here even if it wasn't right in the shadow of Tombstone, Arizona. Great staff and a very enjoyable restaurant.

We stopped at the ranch for 5 nights in May 2022, as part of our honeymoon trip. The whole experience, and it is an experience, not just a place to stay, was amazing from start to finish. We felt transported to the Old West at times, whilst still having the modern conveniences you would want in a dry, hot environment (a fridge in the room, good a/c and a fantastic shower!!). Check in and check out were smooth, our room was large and well equipped and the food provided was beyond our expectations. We were treated to some fun entertainment on most evenings and the staff in the saloon were friendly and talkative if you just wanted to quench your thirst after a ride. The rides themselves were stunning, with the horses matched to riders at the start of our trip, so that you got to know them very quickly. All of the wranglers were friendly and helpful and it felt like somewhere that wanted you to ride rather than somewhere that would make you feel like your riding was substandard. We were beginners but felt confident the whole trip and put at ease quickly. We like to vary our experiences and try many different types of trips but can honestly say that this is one of the few places we will definitely visit again.

Don’t know what anyone else experienced that was not great about this Ranch! We strayed 2 nights here in the Wyatt Earp room. It was so relaxing. Huge room! Huge Bathroom. Outdoor covered porch with 2 Rockers on it to sit and contemplate life! There were no flies or mosquitoes to bother us…( I expected it with a horse ranch) The horses are well cared for. They are saddled up at certain times and ready to go for the trail rides that are pre-scheduled. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room . Everyone was extremely friendly and nice here!!! The western themed town with rooms are a one of a kind experience. The indoor breakfasts were yummy pancakes, eggs, Bacon potato cakes, Cereals, and juices etc. The outdoor Chuckwagon breakfast was fabulous! Campfire Coffee , Yummy Bacon, Hash Browns, Eggs or Ranchero Eggs, and Beans of course served on Blue Speckled Enamelware! Campfire Coffee. Picnic Tables around a Campfire and old fashioned covered wagon. There is an old fashioned Bar area with huge fireplace. They have organized activities available. The old cellar of the original 19th century homestead is preserved under plexiglass in the Bar area. The only down side, if any, is about a 2 mile bumpy dirt road right out of Tombstone to the Ranch. But, then again it serves to the whole Old West atmosphere! We loved it here so very much!

Let me address the comments about a bad smell in the rooms. That is DISENFECTANT. They are abiding by COVID standards and cleaning the rooms properly. We opened the windows and with the fan on, the smell was gone in about 5 minutes. This was a great place to stay. You pull up and you see see an old western town. The rooms are actually one of the storefronts. You might stay in Miss Kitty’s, the Jail, Marshall’s Office, etc. Each room is decorated accordingly. To really get into the spirit of things, you really need to dress up. The kids will remember this forever. They have horseback riding, some games to make the time go by, you can even shoot some guns. The only thing that kept us from giving this a perfect 5 was the breakfast. We were really looking forward to breakfast as it was really built up to us by the lady that checked us in. Choices are pretty limited on what you can order and that was totally fine with us. Food came out within 5 minutes - items pre-made. Scrambled eggs, one sausage, one piece bacon, deep fried hash brown and one piece of French toast. Hearty meal. Scrambled eggs were Cold. Bacon was crispy, yet Cold. French toast was Cold. There was no warmth to any of these 3 items. When I went to cut the crust on one piece of my french toast it crunched and the fork stopped 1/2 way. The shining parts of breakfast: the orange juice was good. The sausage and hash browns were hot and very good. I am not going to go into as much detail, the next day was pretty much the same. It is too bad that whoever is running the kitchen is not following proper food handling standards. This could be an issue. As I said everything was great except for the breakfast. I hope that we just hit them on some bad days.

Couldn't have been better! The staff from the wranglers to the front desk were all amazing! A special shout out to Tam, Josh, Rosie, and Z! My wife, 6 year old son, and I had a blast. If you're considering going with young children and are an active family, stop considering and just do it.
