The place is amazing in its beauty, the resort is immersed in nature and has a beautiful botanical garden. The hospitality was excellent and very professional. Every day we have found all the help you need and beyond. It is highly recommended.

Me and my girlfriend spent the best 4 days of our trip in Costa Rica at La Palapa. Everything was perfect, and much more than we were expecting. Staying at La Palapa is to stay in the middle of the jungle with all the commodities of a 5 star hotel. We had an amazing bungalow around the swimming pool and...

From the minute one pulls into the property, one becomes aware that this is not just another hotel. Luscious vegetation greeted us and coaxed us to explore the beautiful grounds. It felt as though we were in the midst of a botanical garden. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and affordable. Best of all, Manuel offers a tour on his property...

There are small bungalows in the middle of green park. Its beautiful, lots of flowers, trees, bananas. They have very tasty and delicious breakfasts. The pool is useful when you come back from a trip and want to cool down. About 5 km are wild beaches with noone. You must go there.

I stayed at La Palapa in July. It was a great experience! I loved the garden, it is perfect! You can see that Manuel, the owner, puts a lot of effort and love on taking care of his garden. It is immaculate and you can see a huge collection of different plants...Just the amount of different palm trees is amazing....

I came to la palapa for 3 nights in June. The lodge was beautiful and extremely clean, and the grounds perfectly manicured. I booked it because it was kind of in the middle of nowhere and I wanted to experience the wildlife of Costa Rica and we got just that! It is true that the owners don't like you having...

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and I feel we were very lucky to have found La Palapa, which is nestled between the mountains and the ocean. Our family of 3 enjoyed the tranquility, the filling and fresh breakfast every morning, the delightful conversations with the owner, and the clean and nicely decorated bungalows. We stayed in a...

We were there with our friends and 2 children. The rooms are located in small bungalows with nice terraces so you can seat in the evening and drink wine. There are lots of trees and greens around. You can meet some iguanas during going for breakfast. The pool is small but nice.

I stayed here with my girlfriend back on the nights of 17 & 18 April 2014 and I'm certain we witnessed reviewers hnikole and Max B. Before I get to that, the resort is off the main road but is well-marked by road signs and on Google Maps. The grounds are covered in well manicured gardens which was a delight....
