We stayed in a cabin with full cooking facilities and a fridge but ate our meals at the resort. Breakfasts were generous and the dinners which had to be pre-ordered by 4 PM were very satisfying. There are lots of birds on the property and along the trails on the hillside and along the river. The waterfall pool a short...

The good the bad and the ugly! So the facilities are clean and cute just like the photos say. It is way off the beaten track, 25 mins to Dominical or Quepos. Down a rocky road and nestled in the jungle. The grounds are well kept. At check in they attempted to make us pay extra for our son saying...

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Drake Bay. The resort are a little bit off side but isn't any problem if you have a car. There is a restaurant on the lodge but you need to list you for the dinner before 15.30 if I remember right. The food is good but maybe a little bit pricy....

Avoid the La Palapa eco Lodge. I've lived in Costa Rica for 12 years and have visited dozens of hotels, lodges, resorts and Friends personal homes. the story I have to tell is disheartening. Avoid the La Palapa eco-lodge at Portalon Costa Rica. we stayed at this hotel last week. when we went for dinner I ordered water to drink....

This is REVIEW is all about a client that does not have money even to buy a bottle of water. The water of the resort is good for drinking, simply we do not serve tap water at dinner. The rest of the review is just from a person with no basic education that attacks me without even ever talking to...

This resort is amazing. Away from crowded touristic spots you find yourself near to the beach and also the jungle. For me that makes it the perfect place to enjoy those 2 sides of Costa Rica. The staff was excellent. The rooms good, clean and beautiful. There´s no doubt I will come back. Thank you for everything.

Loved this place! It's like a hidden paradise! I cried when I left! Unique setting(in nature) close to beautiful trails with waterfall. 5 minutes from the most beautiful beaches I've seen and close to great to visit places like Manuel Antonio National Park, Playa Linda Beach, Playa Matapalo Beach, Playa Dominical Beach, Quepos Marina. Property is safe (gated) and has...

We were greeted by Magda who has been very welcoming and friendly throughout our three night stay. From this hotel, we visited Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Playa Linda (pretty beach!!). The location is remote and peaceful, It is very good to disconnect and be in the middle of this nature paradise. There are iguanas, toucans, hummingbirds, butterflies, a waterfall... There...

this is a very nice hotel surrounded by nature. The boss is very nice and very close to his customers. It is also very close to everything and at the same timer very exotic as it is completely disconnected to the traffic, the road or the noise in general. This is the perfect way to rest!
