You walk in to the hotel and everything appears to be very nice and clean. However, once we went up the elevator to the hallway and the rooms, it was a completely different story. Our first room smelled like old food. It smelled like week old onions and garlic. So we then go down to the front desk to request another room and they place us on the 5th floor. We go there only to find discover that the entire 5th floors hallways was extremely hot and smelled like sewage. We get to our room and it smelled like cigarette smoke as well as discovering that the shower was disgusting and the phone was equally as gross. This is not the type of experience that people associate with the Hyatt name. We ended up not staying there after our 2nd room experience and we opted for the Holiday Inn Express which we always know will be nice. I will be very cautious to stay in Hyatt Place’s from now on. Thankful for the nice staff that worked hard to get our refund and did not give us any issue. They were very kind and I appreciated their efforts to accommodate us, however in this case we did not want to stay in this hotel after our experience.…
Staff at the hotel was probably some of the best I have ran across in any Hyatt, very friendly and very professional, especially the shuttle drivers! The HUGE problem was that the AC in my room was HORRIBLE!! Kept me up all night AND didn't work!
Nice and friendly staff. Always great rooms at the Hyatt..great last minute booking and convinient location. Great rooms as well. Fridge, safe, view, elevators, 24/7 staff available at your service. Will be back
I am an airline pilot and I only stay at this property when I stay in Phoenix. Great staff and very convenient to the airport. Breakfasts are amazing and everything is fresh. Great food and beverage menu too!
Overall, we had a decent experience. Upon arrival, the hotel looked a little different than what the pictures showed. The hotel looks fairly new and up to date online, but the hallways and room are definitely older than the pictures looked. The staff was AWESOME. We were always greeted anytime we were in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Aside from the hotel being slightly outdated, the only complaint we had was the toilet!!! The water ran NON STOP! Every night, we would have to get up and shut the bathroom door because it was so annoying. We did let the staff know about the issue, but it would have taken a plumber to fix it. We tried everything to get it to stop. Again, the staff was more than amazing. I wish I knew their names because they should be rewarded for their excellent customer service. …
