Expensive compared to others in the area (2x$) Everything is an add-on cost on top of it being twice others (dog, parking, water) No breakfast included (included with less expensive in area) Rooms are average. Staff was great.
Clean rooms, accommodating staff, great food, cute hotel, fun atmosphere, walking distance to the hotspots of Tempe! No issues during our stay. I would definitely come back and explore more of Arizona!
It was one of the best value hotels on/near campus what great amenities and service. Kind of camper it with SW Airline with the cute quirkiness and free luggage check in. But of late and more specifically last 6 months the hotel has become United Express. Rooms are still comfortable and clean. Pricing is affordable. Parking remains free and you are in a good spot on/next to campus. But pool and exterior area is dirty and lacking amenities. Don't plan on sitting around the pool drinking a Margareta because the Catina is closed from 1-5. Its still OK but just disappointing from what it was
First time to stay here and quite surprised had not stayed here prior. come into town 8-10 times year for work- this trip was for daughters graduation. Perfect ASU location as in next door! Rooms- we had 2, were both very clean, quite and best view of ASU for sure. Walkable and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff very polite, professional clearly well trained. They liked their jobs and really made us feel welcome!
We stayed here for our daughters college tour, parents weekend and for Graduation. Very Cool Hotel in the heart of Tempe. Walking distance to ASU, restaurants & shopping. Also Bikes are available to go for a nice bike ride exploring the campus.
I live in the neighborhood and came by to take a look around and enjoy the pool on the first 100 degree day. The staff is very friendly and amenable, a gentleman at the front desk provided me with a towel and a little beer coozy. The building itself is very posh and stylish, there’s a nice restaurant with a couple very good affordable options (something that is becoming rarer in tempe) and there’s even a rooftop patio with a beautiful view of all the greenery in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
First off Tom was absolutely amazing for service. Helped print some files, arranged an uber when I don't even have a phone, even having himself get the call at a super early ungodly hour. This is only the second review I've written and the first positive one as the service was just that good. He also helped work out shuttle/uber as well since the room did come with transportation as well.
This is my second stay at the hotel. The rooms, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the hotel is still outstanding. The shuttle service is different than what I remember from my first stay. It’s only for certain bookings and not all bookings as before. No worries though because the hotel is so close to the airport. Overall this was a great stay.
Stay was over night. Too pricey for the quality. Shower did not drain properly. Coffee pot was very dirty inside, not able to make/ enjoy coffee in the AM. Room smelled musty, not a clean sent. Bed sheets were clean, but had strong odor, not clean scent.
Haven’t visited this hotel since the widespread of Covid. I was greeted by the shuttle driver and front desk with warmth and big smiles. I received a room without a balcony and that’s always been one of the biggest allures of this hotel for me. Called down and spoke to Tom the new guest service manager and he had no issues making the accommodations to a new room for me. Service for the change was efficient and he even through in a drink voucher for the trouble. After missing this city for so long is was nice to start off with this experience.
