Had a memorable stay at Shanti Morada, an old renovated Portuguese property which is now nothing short of heritage thanks to the in detail designing and the interiors. The staff are polite and assisted me in booking of a vehicle at reasonable price. The breakfast has varieties to choose from with some good Indian preparations. The staff is polite and attentive and their GM Mr. Amar quite responsive to one’s needs. They did arrange for some wonderful yoga classes during our stay which were conducted by Mr Shailendra Gupta which is the USP of the place I think. The management was kind enough to offer us complimentary daily laundry services. The only minus was the management had promised us use of jacuzzi but later could not citing govt checks.

This place is more than what you see in photos. It is approx 3km away from the Calangute beach. The ambiance is absolutely stunning, it has an authentic old-fashioned Goan vibe. We stayed here for 2 days in a "Pescador"(a room on the 2nd floor which has a balcony that overlooks the pool). The service is topnotch. I didn't expect the staff and their service to be so courteous. They are so amicable and welcoming. The amenities are outstanding, especially the bathroom w/ right amount of toiletries. On the 1st floor, I was surprised to see a snooker table and a rack full of books to read in our free time. Along with that, there is a pool, jacuzzi w/ an attached bar, and a big garden on the outdoors which is a perfect place to chill in the evenings w/ a cup of coffee or to take some nice pictures. Unfortunately, we didn't have access to the pool/jacuzzi due to COVID. Our package came with a free buffet breakfast which was so filling. The bf included everything you can imagine(fruits, toasts, cereal, sandwich, cheese omelet, North Indian, fresh juice, cappuccino, etc). The dining area is on the ground floor where you can also have lunch/dinner at your own cost. Also, there is room service but they include 10% service charges. If you want they will also arrange a bike(Rs 350/- per day) or cab from and to the airport (Rs 1500/- per trip). Overall it is an unforgettable experience. Would recommend it to everyone and will definitely visit again!

We stayed at Shanti Morada for a week, and it was an excellent experience! The property is an old portuguese villa with beautiful rooms and nice pool. The staff was very friendly, and we really enjoyed the dinners at their restaurant with chef Abu.
