Detailed Reviews
Initially we were going to stay 2 nights but my mom had problems breathing (has COPD) so we only stayed 1 night. The staff at check in (i'm sorry, i can't remember her name) was very nice, friend;y and very helpful when we asked for food recommendations around. The owner, Roxanne, was also extremely nice and concerned about my mom's health, i really appreciated her genuine concerns. The check in was very easy, check out the same. The lodge is most probably been there for a while but we were impressed with how clean the rooms and linen were. We got a suite, nice set up with 1 queen and 2 doubles. Prices are more than reasonable. I am planning on going back soon and highly recommend this place.

We stayed here because they were the best priced pet friendly hotel on our way through town but it wasn’t worth it. Room was not very clean, couldn’t get the room warm on a very cold night and bed only had thin sheet, no blanket or bedspread. Walls were thin so we “enjoyed” our neighbors TV late into the night.

Reed's Lodge is a 75 year old motel that is in the process of renovation. When I checked in, the friendly girl at the desk said she changed my reservation to an updated room. The room looked brand new! It was very bright and clean with new furniture. Being in our 70s, my wife and I really enjoyed the retro furnishings! The bed was very comfortable with nice soft sheets. The bathroom was quite small, but had a tub, which was appreciated. The continental breakfast was adequate, mostly packaged food with some fresh fruit.
The lobby was western style with a wood-burning fireplace that smelled so good! We would definitely stay again!

Being an older motel with old furniture and carpet, decades of cigarette smoke permeated our non-smoking room. There were coins on the dirty carpet so it must not have even been vacuumed before our arrival. There was smashed dog poop along the sidewalk and stairs to our room so we had to watch our every step. On the plus side, the bed and linens were nice. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was great and the room was fairly quiet.

The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice and accommodating. It went downhill from there. On June 4, we stayed in room 19. The floor was very dirty. My wife had a new pair of slippers with white soles. After a few minutes walking around they were very dirty. Also the bottom of me feet became dirty just walking around the room. The TV did not work. Shorty, the lady at the desk, was very nice and tried to fix it, but could not. On our return trip on June 8, they booked us in a room that was unacceptable. Just a desk, chair, bed, and TV. Bathtub has rust stains and the bathroom floor was very wet, as if there was a leak somewhere. I went to the desk and told them the room was unacceptable and they said that the room was one of their older rooms and that they didn’t have another room available for us. I asked to cancel the room and be refunded the cost, which they did. They were very nice about it. Needless to say, we will not be staying at Reed’s Lodge again.

Reed’s is an older property that’s been renovated inside. The room is crisp, well maintained and clean. It’s quite nice in the usual modern motif. There’s a king bed, bed tables, writing desk/chair, easy chair and ‘period’ microwave and mini-fridge. The outside is a bit rough, particularly the parking lot. In addition, the desk clerks were most engaging and helpful in finding us a place to eat dinner. Very nice.
I would give five stars, but the breakfast was a bit sub-par. A packaged continental type breakfast. We ended up eating at the nearby McDonald's.

We like this motel so much that we stayed two different times on a recent trip throughout the White Mountains. Online reservation system is accurate and efficient. Staff always friendly and available. Rooms clean and comfortable and as-advertised. Parking easy right outside the room. Coffee and danish/muffins available in the lobby, where you'll also find a longhorn steer, fun for photos. A friendly resident cat visited us on both stays.

Efficient check in with an accommodating front desk person who got us a king bed cause traveling with our dog as well as extra luggage rack. It is an older motel with some modern touches-redone bath for instance and World Market type bamboo chairs & table. Room was clean, bed comfortable, no carpets thankfully. Price is right. Continental breakie included was adequate for what it was. We will stay again.

Given the price, I expected this place to be nicer. The room was clean enough, but shabby. The carpet was stained and the seam was coming apart. The TV was ancient and the picture was fuzzy on the few stations that came in. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep, but the bedding was old. Bathroom looked to be original construction with the exception of the sink, which looked like it had been replaced in the last decade.
If I ever get stuck overnight in Springerville again I would pick a different place to stay. As a bonus, the parking lot was a sheet of ice.

Super cute Motel done in the 50’s type décor. A bit dated but extremely clean and looks like new bathrooms. Staff was awesome! Breakfast was continental but not sit down. Now this sounds bad, but the quality of the breads, pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and other stuff I can’t remember was really good. Will definitely stay there again
