What can I say. I found the hotel online and called them a couple of hours away to secure a room for my wife and myself for the night. On the phone the fellow was friendly and helpful. I should have caught a clue when he said "Walk up the sidewalk 20 yards to the cafe to get checked in,... More

The motel is old, awkward, but remolded well enough to deserve $40-$50 per night, however the management are entirely rude, unprofessional, insulting and those are mild. Absolutely would discourage any traveler from staying here largely due to the owner/manager. P.S. the maid service consisted of throwing the comforter over the rumpled sheets, no cleaning was actually performed. I almost laughed,... More

We reserved a room for 2 nights but when I went in the room before registering there was a dead roach. The owners gave us a refund which was nice. However, we had to go an extra 50 miles to Holbrook for a room. Use caution.. a real sad place.

Outside needs lots of work, rooms need to be updated, needs new beds I had two beds in my room and both were old, had stains on the mattress and sheets, one mattress did not fit the box spring. The furniture in the room had not been cleaned and the bathroom also lacked proper cleaning. There were stains in the... More

Our family stayed here and are booking it again for our return trip. It is an older building and not fancy - but it is the best value anywhere. The best part are the owners. They value your business - are extremely accommodating and just a lovely family. They also run the cafe next door and our kids, anticipating our... More

When we drove up to the property the grounds look like they have been neglected for years. I was very hesitant to register. The lobby looked like a storeroom and had a notice on the door that to register you had to go down the street to a cafe (not far - I just walked). When I entered the cafe... More

After a very frustrating experience with the front desk staff at Comfort Inn Snowflake we came across this nice little, almost hidden row of rooms right in the middle of downtown Snowflake. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and felt like they cared about our stay with them. I read the person's review about his experience back in... More

The reviews I read before I went to Snowflake about the Cedar motel are completely unfair. The motel has been renovated and the bathroom and bedroom are clean and new. The beds are also new. The owners who have a restaurant next doorand are very friendly and even give room service. We had a very pleasant two nights.

I had a most pleasant stay at the Cedar Motel for a week over Christmas & thoroughly enjoyed myself. Management and staff were very kind and accommodating. They were very considerate of my disability, bringing things to my room & setting up a special bathtub bar for me. They went out of their way in hospitality -- one man even... More

On a recent trip to Phoenix and Sedona, I went exploring in Northeastern Arizona. After driving a bit of the Coronado trail, which is spectacular, I found myself in the small hamlet of Snowflake, Arizona, which lies in the northern foothills of the beautiful White Mountains. Alas, the local B&B, which is recommended, was full as were two chain motels... More
