I can understand the new owners trying to update the property, but, it is in a questionable area of Sierra Vista, AZ with many homeless/indigents and not safe. On the surface the rooms looked adequate and clean, but after several stays I found out of date and nonfunctional appliances and lacking cleanliness. More than once, after a midnight visit to the toilet, I returned to bed and felt dirt on the sheets. The bottoms of my feet were black with dirt and filth. The mattresses were old box-springs with a cheap foam pad on top. Internet access was good, but that is the only positive I can give. At $96/night this property gets a zero out of ten.

The hotel was a good value for the price but could use a bit of refreshing. That said, everything was solid and we stayed for seven nights. Room was clean and included a microwave and refigerator. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average but included hot selections daily. It was a convenient base location for day trips to Bisbee, Tombstone, Patagonia and some of the wineries in Sonoita. We had stayed here 10 years ago and it seemed a bit different than we remembered which may be coloring our view.

The bed was good, but the pillows are tiny squares and not very comfortable, plus the sheet had old stains. The bathroom is extremely tiny but the shower was good. Needs a bit of scrubbing. Breakfast was great!

Room Tip: Don't expect more than average room. DON'T eat Mexican food next door, overcooked and overpriced!...

We love to follow dad on his work trips, this hotel room was perfect for our family! It has a good size living room, the bedroom is separated and down a little hallway. We had 2 huge closets for storage, the living room & bedroom each had a TV. Comes with all your amenities that you may need. It was so relaxing and comfortable staying here. We would definitely stay here again! So much space for all of us!

We stayed at Sierra Suites with our two teenagers. The place is beautiful! Courtyards with fountains, a lovely common area, heated pool and free coffee all day long! Everything was clean and high quality. The continental breakfast was good all week long with a nice variety of food. Again, did I mention the Wolfgang Puck coffee? The staff was great. Anything you need or request is no problem. Saul is the BEST! His charm and charisma really put a shine on any situation. The location was a perfect base for travel to Tombstone, Bisbee, the Coronado Memorial and so much more. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Saul - front desk = Best ever. Ask for him. Quiet. Clean rooms, pool, and Hot Tub. Good coffee, good breakfast. Good location. Close to anything you could ever need. Copper Canyon Brothel in Sonoita is a good choice for lunch and craft brew. Taking way back via Coronado is fun.

Arrived and there were several Masks Required signs. No one was wearing masks. I have problems with stairs and had requested a first floor room. None were available. There are no elevators. We were given keys and directed to a gate. Keys didn’t work. Got mew keys. Didn’t work. Another stayer said the gate had been broken for a while. Found another gate and after struggling with luggage eventually got to our room. The light on the right side of the bed was broken. Wanting some ice, it turns out that there is on this large property ONE ice machine. Naturally, as far away as possible from our room. More steps and hassle. It is ridiculous to not have an ice machine in Building B. The room itself is fine and the grounds are well kept.

This was our first time at Sierra Suites. I had called the day before we left to make sure we could get a room on the first floor due to my wife is not able to go up stairs. I talked to Saul. He looked at my notes I added to my reservation and assured me we would be on the first floor. When I checked in I met Saul in person and also Justin. Both were very friendly and mad the check in very easy. Our room was nice and the bed was so comfortable. It was quiet and there were many other travelers there. The wireless worked good until about 11 PM. In the morning it was still not working in the room. I went to the lobby and it worked. I talked to Saul and he said he would contact his IT guy. It didn't take long and it was working again. It happens I should know I worked in IT for many years. The breakfast was also very good and had a nice selection of things to eat. Also a nice selection of coffee. When I checked out It was very easy and the women who di it was also very nice. All of the staff I was in contact with during my stay was very friendly. I would stay here again. All staff had masks on. This was during COVID restrictions.

Great customer service. The woman behind the counter during the day is a gem. We stayed 3 nights and were surprised at the generous breakfast, especially during these times. Sometimes hot dogs/nachos in the afternoon. The pool itself is clean and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi after being out all day. They are obviously are a bit short of staff, but the staff there made up for it. The first night, the hot dog bar didn't happen because no staff but the guy on duty offered to make us spaghetti LOL. We got a pizza at MOD pizza (that was NOT good). My only real complaint is the pool loungers are hard wood, low, not comfortable and many are broken. Hopefully there is a plan to replace. I would stay there again without question.

If you want to stay in a newer property- this isn’t it. BUT- even during Covid- they offered a beautiful full buffet breakfast that included hot items-such as waffles with tons of toppings, lots of baked goods (nothing gf) but I was able to eat the scrambled eggs with veggies and bacon in it and the seasoned potatoes. (Toppings like cheese and salsa where available too. Good coffee. The place seemed well maintained and although the room wasn’t perfectly clean- it was much cleaner then the last Hilton I stayed at. All staff I interacted with where friendly, helpful and accommodating. The inner courtyards are beautiful. The downside for myself- was no elevator access which left me trying to get my heavy luggage up and down the stairs and the long trek from our building to the ice machine in the lobby (only one). The rate was reasonable - especially considering the A plus breakfast offered.
