Just returned from a 2 week stay at le haras for the 2nd year on the trot and we loved it! The sight is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The toilet blocks are kept really clean and the water pressure in the shower is great. The restaurant does lovely food and reasonably priced too. The pool area is always clean and never very busy. We will definitely be back a 3rd time!

This is our 5th year staying at Le Haras at this time of the year. We cannot fault it. Individual hedged in plots with plenty of space, clean showers and toilets, superb onsite restaurant and the owners and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Also not forgetting the beautiful pool which is never crowded and supermarkets only a short drive away. The site is both tranquil and friendly and plenty of beaches and interesting places to visit.

Me and my family took our caravan to this earlier this month for a 13 night stay. We arrived at 5.30pm on a Sunday and were welcomed by a lovely lady who we were able to get a couple of bottles of wine off as the shops were all shut. We were helped to find a pitch (we had the choice of a few) by a lovely man on a Segway who also helped us push our caravan to where we wanted it to be. The site itself is lovely! It’s so picturesque with all the trees and it’s lay out is easy to follow. The toilets were spotless I never once went in and thought they were dirty, likewise with the showers. The water pressure was perfect and the temperature just right. The pools are lush! Cold to begin with but perfect for the hot weather so refreshing! When we went it was also super quiet and there were a few times when we were the only people in the pool. The bar is reasonably priced and the drinks are nice, there is a cocktail list but when we ordered off it they seemed a bit confused how to make the drinks not to worry though because the house wine was tasty! There are a few ants and we did use our ant spray around the caravan legs to keep them out of the van but they weren’t too bad and wouldn’t stop us coming back. We have all said we would love to return and would go back next year for sure! All in all it was a great holiday and a lovely site.

I was lucky to stay in one of their cottages. These are fully equipped and I mean they have everything. During April-June the site is heavily populated by Snow Birds escaping the cold English, Dutch weather. There’s a kind of community spirit amongst these every year visitors. Watch out for Wine O’Clock these snow birds can sink a few glasses of wine 😊. The facilities at Le Haras are great. There’s a pool with ample sun beds. A restaurant that serves food daily. A bar that now and again doubles up as an events room. We had Paella 🥘 night. There is also ample outside space with tables and chairs. There’s even an outside tv 📺 where I’m sure they enjoyed the World Cup. Negatives: the wi-fi is poor in some areas of the site. Mosquitoes! The beautiful wooded setting does seem a breeding ground for blood suckers. But.... use a good repellent and you should be ok. Best Amenities: THE. STAFF. Le Haras is family owned and run. Staff take time to acknowledge you and can often be seen around the site daily.

We have just returned from a short stay at Le Haras and had a fantastic time. The site is very well laid out and is packed full of trees, shrubs and flowers - all of which is immaculately maintained. We stayed in a small mobile home which came with its own wooden sun deck and canopy. The camping pitches are very large in comparison to UK sites and most are bordered by low hedges to give an element of privacy. The pool is fabulous - crystal clear water that is so perfectly balanced that no chemical can be detected. At this time of year it was quite ‘bracing’ but also so quiet that I had it to myself at times. Plenty of sun beds and hairs around the edge too. The restaurant was excellent - nothing like campsite food I have had in the past!
