Don't judge this book by its cover...it is clean, spacious, and perfect for anyone traveling the Mother Road. Owner Marie is delightful - friendly and enthusiastic, and willing to share tips for our journey- a real ambassador for Route 66. She took the time to make sure our room met our expectations and it exceeded them! Did I say the...

One of the other reviews touched on the fact that in Seligman, there aren't a lot of choices of where to stay. We chose The Aztec for its great reviews on Trip Advisor. Marie is the owner and a wonderful character. Our room was not fancy, dry plain but it was spit-shine clean and neat. Marie asked what time we...

I am usually a hotel-type person but in Seligman there are only just a handful of motels. We found the Aztec Motel and had a very nice experience. Marie is the owner and housekeeper here and the rooms are spotless! This was our first stop on the way to the Grand Canyon and we wanted to stay at the Aztec...

Ok let's get the negatives out of the way. No wifi, no pool, no laundry facility. Ok I'm over it now. What you have here is a next to perfect Motel. The lady who runs it does everything herself. She is the sweetest lady who clearly works incredibly hard. The room was immaculate. Spotless. Clinically clean. No dirty light switches,...

The owner is a sweet lady. I asked her to show me a room then she did and it was the cleanest I ever saw. I will all stay there when I need a place to stay. She said if we need anything just knock on door and she told us a good restaurant to go too.

This is a no frills room but cleaner than most chain hotels. There wasn't a speck of dust to be found. Maria took amazing care of us and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. We were immersed in the nostalgia of Rte 66. The murals on the outside were so cool to see. The beds were comfortable.

Marie is a great manager and very friendly. Great customer service, family business with love. She also shares a great organic coffee called Route 66 Coffee... delicious! I bought 2 bags! Rooms are clean and easy access with car.

We stopped here for the night when travelling between LA and Austin. The motel is located on historic Route 66. The rooms are basic, queen bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was clean. They have wifi and direct TV. Marie was very nice and helpful. She recommended a great breakfast place, Westside Lilo's, where we received...

We were returning home to Heber Overheard after meeting our grandson to return our great granddaughters to him after having them visit us for 2 weeks from VEGAS and were too tired to drive. I had read about Marie and the Aztec Motel and she turns out to be just as wonderful as described!! we were honored to be able...

This small couple-run motel is a perfect place to hang your hat for the night. If you're just looking for a basic, clean, affordable place to lay your head without extra amenities, this is it. We have stayed twice, once during cold weather and once in July. A/C worked fine. Marie, the owner, makes it her mission to ensure you...
