The Aiden By Best Western Sedona garners high marks for its hospitable staff who are noted for their attentive service and valuable local knowledge. While the hotel offers a range of praised amenities like a meditation room and a satisfying breakfast, some guests have mentioned the breakfast area can feel cramped, and the pool is on the smaller side.
Cleanliness stands out as a significant plus, with special commendation for the pristine rooms and facilities. Despite some remarks about the rooms being cozy and occasionally noisy, the overall value is appreciated, thanks to the hotel's strategic location near dining and trails and its recent renovations that contribute to a peaceful atmosphere.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times. It is well-priced, recently updated, and perfectly located for walking to two very nice restaurants. The bathroom doesn't have a large area around the sink, but that's about the only drawback....and not one that bothers us enough. We'd always stay here every time we spend the night in Sedona

Our family has stayed at the Andante Inn several times during the last few years. We love the property views, your staff is fantastic, the rooms are clean and include a mini fridge, and pets are accepted. We have been thrilled upon each return to see that the pool area is remodeled, the dog park and patio area are well equipped, and the rooms continue to be available at comparable rates. Our reasons for visiting Sedona are to 1: get away from the heat of our Phoenix home, 2: hike in the beautiful Red Rock Country, and 3: eat at least once at the Golden Goose Grill that is adjacent to the Andante -and many times we eat there twice! Once again, we have had a very wonderful visit. We felt the rooms were very clean, and we used the patio area to eat our Golden Goose takeout meals. Thank you and we will see you again soon!

We were not at this property very long, mostly just to sleep. But we where traveling with a puppy and were very thankful for their well maintained dog run area. The grounds of this hotel were very inviting, especially at night with the strung lights lit and the fireplace seating area! The rooms were adequate, especially for the price. The floors in the entrance area and elevator were fairly dirty, but we arrived at night, likely after hours for any cleaning crews. They have installed hand sanitizer dispensers at all elevators which we thought was a nice touch! We would stay here again next time we are in town!

Stayed for 3 nights in June so it was hot. We were thankful to walk into an Air Conditioned clean room. The North facing rooms have the best view of the Red Rocks and the West Sedona area. We came to Sedona to hike and got up early each day to get breakfast. This is NOT a "continental breakfast" as advertised. They offered tiny frozen breakfast burritos that had to be microwaved by all guests which created a big line for the single microwave. The rest of breakfast was pastries, cereal, yogurts, coffee and juices. They give you a paper bag and you just fill it up for grab and go to eat outside. I wouldn't call this a continental breakfast as there are no hot foods. They need a second and third microwave.
There were no towels at the pool and we had to reuse our room towels each day. Would be nice if room service came daily.
I brought my pet and there was a great little space for dogs to roam around in a fenced off area with astroturf.
Great bonfire area to sit and chill after a long day of hiking and exploring. You can buy a smores package for $5.
Parking at the hotel was easy. Customer Service - Melody at the front desk was helpful and kind through out the stay!

Really I would give it a 3.5 but was unable. The staff was excellent. Our balcony view on the back side was good. The room was clean (and I did inspect it). The breakfast was a pack your own bag and take back to your room. The halls and elevator need a good cleaning. The only reason I gave it a 3.5 is the value for price paid. I paid $330.00 for this average room when the next night I paid $350.00 for a a 2 room suite including a full made to order breakfast in Sedona.

This is $125-$150 a night hotel that is now going for $300 a night. Half of southern California has flocked to Sedona during the pandemic which has sent prices skyrocketing. This would be a fine hotel at $150.... crazy at $300. Plus is they have nice balconies...we paid for a "view" room which looked out on residential houses. The bathroom is so outdated I thought I was seeing things. They had jury rigged the toilet tank with a piece of styrofoam that was wedged behind it. We needed our "grab and go" breakfast early to leave for a hike. Was told that the breakfast person didn't arrive until 7 a.m. Again, the market is totally out of whack in Sedona now that Southern Californians have descended on it... this hotel is a perfect example of that craziness.

Hello David and thank you for the review. Although hotel prices everywhere are based on supply and demand, we make every effort to be very competitive in our market and offer our guest a great value. Weekends and holidays tend to be the busiest with weekdays offering much lower rates. I hope you will consider us on your next visit, until then safe travels. E Nelson GM

The Andante Inn was a good place to stay for a few nights in Sedona. The room was clean, which is the most important to me. I could hear noises from the other rooms, which wasn’t great, but I was still able to sleep so it wasn’t a big deal. I liked that they had a dog walk area but I wouldn’t exactly call them “pet-friendly”. Their policy was you had to be with your dog at all times, whether you had a crate or not, the dog could not be left in your room. This was not mentioned anywhere on the website. I planned my trip to go on hikes all day long and my ten year old dog couldn’t handle all of the hikes I had selected, so I had to alter my trails and ended up spending a lot more time at the hotel than I’d planned. When I return, I’ll stay somewhere that isn’t as restrictive about their pet policy.

Thank you for your review and I'm glad you liked our hotel. Although we do have some pet friendly rooms the reason we ask you not to leave your dog alone in the room is so it doesn't bark and disturb our other guest. Even the best behaved dogs when left alone in a strange place get scared. We can offer some suggestions of easier hikes or even a place where you can board your dog during the day if you need to leave them behind.

My husband & I spent vday weekend at the Andante Inn. The rooms are quite small but very clean. We booked the room with the views and the views are amazing 😍 Breakfast in the am is your typical continental breakfast nothing really taste good. One thing I did not like was that the hotel did not have ac. Although february tends to be cold when we checked in our room was hot & I had a hard time sleeping at night. Beds were firm but comfortable.

Greetings! Thank you for staying at Andante Inn for the Valentine’s Day holiday. I’m so glad that you arrived to a super clean room and beautiful views! It looks like your bed was comfortable as well. Regarding the A/C though, I am wondering what happened. All rooms here have A/C and heat. We never want a guest to be uncomfortable, and are quite diligent in maintaining our room climate control system. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to reach out to my office through the front desk. We would love to have the opportunity to welcome you back, and to make sure that you have everything you need for a great stay! Best, Ed, GM

I feel cheated. I paid extra for a suite and a view of the rocks, and we were given what I believe to be the worst room in the entire place - next to the door and elevator, without a patio, on the main path from the lobby, and with a view of the pool equipment house and its accompanying noise instead of the rocks. The room was not ready when we checked in, had animal hair on the carpets, and the living room of the "suite" was so tiny it could only fit a loveseat, a coffee table, and a TV. Breakfast was pathetic - prepackaged pastries, tiny individual bowls of cereal, and granola bars. And tiny yogurts. Your standard cheap motel breakfast, except for this place wasn't really cheap.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and we slept well in the beds.
If I stay here again, I certainly won't pay extra for a "better" room.

The Aiden is a newer brand in Sedona, and it took over from the Andante Inn. I have stayed at the Aiden in Scottsdale and this one is a bit different (they all are according to Best Western's branding).
The staff at check-in was very personable and welcoming. As a Diamond Select member they upgraded me to a 3rd floor room with a red rock view. It was raining and cloudy the entire time but I could tell through the clouds that the rooms have an excellent view if it is sunny.
My room was immaculately clean and the bright white bathroom was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. The rooms are well soundproofed as I did not hear any noise from the street through the balcony door.
The rooms are very small - not as small as a Tru by Hilton, but there was just enough room for a King bed and small chair. There are no dressers, just shelves to place things on. The bathroom is very small also with almost no counter space. I liked the decor in the room which was very Sedona. There was a lack of lighting in the room as it had only 4 lamps for the entire room, with a switch at the entry that did nothing. The bathroom had plenty of light.
They have cable on the TV but I was sad at the lack of a sleep timer. When I travel I like to fall asleep to the noise of the TV, but I had to wake up and turn it off. Most hotels offer this function. The heater/ac unit was quieter than other hotels, but took some time getting used to the remote and how to make it work. I had to keep it on 82 to get it warm in the room. Perhaps it wasn't calibrated properly. A sheet explaining how to use the unit would be nice for those who are not as technologically capable.
The breakfast in the morning was good with cereal, bagels, bread, omelettes, sausage, oatmeal and a yogurt bar. The yogurt was really good as were the hot options.
Overall, this is a good hotel if you are traveling solo or with one other person. I think a family would feel cramped in the small rooms, even if you're only planning on being in there at night. The service from the staff was attentive and friendly. Thanks for a nice stay!

Yes, but due to Covid-19 we are offering only individually wrapped items.
I think there is but really not certain. You better check directly with the hotel.
I believe all the rooms have a balcony. However you might want to request a room facing the Main Street. The view is beautiful. Not sure about hiking. You could call the hotel. You may want to keep in mind this is a old hotel that has been updated. Nothing fancy but very clean. The restaurant next door was excellent for dinner.
We have limited number of pet rooms available and they need to be reserved directly with the hotel at 928-282-1533 to ensure you receive one. The fee is $25 per stay (one time fee), per pet (max 2) regardless of the number of nights reserved
