The only positive was comfortable bed. When it comes to customer service not so much. I stayed here for 3 nights, and never had house keeping come in. No new towels provided, no trash taken out, nothing. I tried to call front desk to request at least clean towels but no one is picking up. There is kitchen here, but no utensils. I also booked the safari tour and was told that its smaller group 4-7 per vehicle but it was not. It was 11 of us on it. Also my booking confirmation had wrong address so i showed up at wrong place and the confirmation had 3am tour listed instead of 3pm. Disappointed with the service, would not recommend this place.
The resort was centrally located so that we were able to walk to dinner and shops. The hiking trails were a short drive away. A wonderful place because able to go to all of the local sights. We loved the Cowboy Club Grille and Spirits (amazing steak) and The Hudson (amazing view from the patio).
Family friendly very nice resort with fantastic staff. Easy walking to restaurants. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Beautiful surroundings for walks, very well set up. The rooms were clean with everything you could need.
Place was not clean, splashed drops down cabinet doors and bathroom door; tub hand dust around rim; paint had bubbles and cracks. Refrigerator door did not seal and condensation pooled in bottom of fridge and leaked onto the floor of the very small kitchen area. Living Room TV was missing cable box; maintenance came and said he would be back in 5 minutes with one; never saw him again. I resolved by taking cable box from Bedroom TV, connecting it to the Living Room TV. There was only one in the unit in the bedroom with limited hangers; no place to hang coats/jackets in Living/Dining Room as no closet and no wall hooks to hang coats. Kitchen had limited utensils and was missing a cutting board (management did provide a cutting board when asked). Nothing got fixed; most things were not clean; walkways and stairs had sticks/leaves debris that was not cleaned daily. Stairs (no ramps or elevator) had damaged/cracked/broken edge steps that scrapped the Hell out of our polycarbonate luggage that we had to lug up to the unit. The Pool looked OK, but the large hot tub was very cloudy; we never used that bacterial cesspool hot tub. In general the place is old, not well maintained, and EXPENSIVE for what you get!…
World class resort located in the heart of Sedona. Walk everywhere and enjoy the resort grounds nestled along Oak Creek. This historic property has all the modern amenities in an old world, one-of-a-kind setting. Downtown Sedona. galleries, and shops are all within walking distance with the acclaimed Tlaquepaque Shopping Plaza across the creek bridge. Why even leave?
We stayed here through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. We did pay a daily resort fee, but we knew that when we made the reservation, no surprise. The room was nice, very clean, master bedroom was huge. I called the day of check in to request a 1st floor room because my husband can't do stairs and there are no elevators. The location of this resort cannot be beat, central to everything, and within walking distance to a lot. The amenities were nice, we did use the hot tub. We did get the timeshare presentation spiel, but you can just say no! If you are more than just a couple, the bathroom is in the master bedroom, so if someone is sleeping on the sofa bed, it might be a bit uncomfortable to come into the master, especially in the middle of the night. Things they can do better: The kitchen especially could use an update. Immediately they should switch the door hinges around on the refrigerator so it opens toward the cabinets. As it is, you literally have about a foot of space to walk between the cabinet and the door when it's open to get to the inside of the refrigerator. If they moved the hinge to the other side, no problems at all. The "stove" is 2 small burners. The big frying pan is so big, you can only use it on the outside burner, and then it covers half of the other burner so you can only use one. I made eggs every morning, so for me this was irritating. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was a trickle. The shower and kitchen were fine, so I found this strange but their were options. I did take a lukewarm shower one night, didn't really enjoy that. We did have an issue with security tagging our Side by Side because they didn't lift the cover to see the proper documents were on the dash. The front desk was notified repeatedly, but apparently it fell on deaf ears. There was zero instructions given on check out procedures, what to do with the trash, etc. There was also no housekeeping at all. They will bring you towels, but we didn't ask for any. They had a concierge's desk and we used it twice. The facility has 4 beautiful Pickleball courts and I would have loved to play had their been a sign up sheet to meet fellow Picklers but none was provided though I asked. This would be super simple for the concierge provide. All this said, I would stay here again because of the location! Plenty of parking though for our particular stay, handicap seemed to be a problem.…
Dated; looking forward to Hilton upgrade. Consierges and Event-of-a-lifetime wonderful. Los Abrigados is "old-school"; enjoyed the cigar friendly patio and enjoyed being able to walk uptown and other direction to Hillside.
We love this resort, location, outdoor activities the resort offers. The units are comfortable but a (very) little outdated. It doesn't not bother us at all but for people who like more glamour might be noticeable .This is why are rated it 4 stars (otherwise 5 stars).
This was a surprise. The place was welcoming with unique architecture, plenty of parking and fun with all of the nearby shopping, restaurants and walking distance to uptown Sedona. Our accommodations were just what we needed as a base for hiking and exploring the beautiful town of Sedona
Los Abrigados is very nicely situated. Close to downtown Sedona and next to Tlaquepaque arts and shopping village. Friendly staff but slightly on the hard sell to upgrade if you're a time-share owner.
