Detailed Reviews
Place was nice and newer looking. Had a microwave, fridge, sink and coffee maker which were really helpful to us.
Service was great too:
We forgot one of our kid's items and the staff was able to find it and left a message letting us know. We were already too far from Sedona so they offered to ship it to us.
Our lotion dispenser was empty, but staff helped immediately by dropping off a new lotion bottle right away.
We had trouble working the heater, but staff helped immediately and showed us how to turn it on.
The two minor things to note:
The floors were dirty and as people who are accustomed to taking our shoes off indoors, it was unpleasant. I would suggest sweeping and mopping the floors between each stay especially since its not carpeted. I probably should have mentioned this to the staff, I'm sure they would have come up with something because the service was great.
Secondly, the sofa bed was not something anyone should sleep on at all. I understand that typically sofa beds are poor quality beds, but this one was pretty bad so I would suggest against using that as a bed option. My wife, two young kids and I all ended up sleeping together on the King bed. I probably should have mentioned this to the staff, I'm sure they would have come up with something because the service was great.

I have 4 stars due to the price, however, I understand Sedona is a higher priced place to stay. It was a fairly basic motel. We paid extra for a “Mountain View” and it appears mostly all of the rooms had this, and was not worth the extra money. The free breakfast was superior to the typical bag breakfasts most even upscale hotels are currently serving due to covid. They had a yogurt bar, oatmeal, egg burritos, coffee/ juices, uncrustables and other snacks that we were able to take on our hikes. We were very impressed by it! I guess we just expected the room to be a bit more updated for the price but it worked! Staff was very kind and accommodating.

This hotel had friendly staff. Checkout was a little hard because the person serving breakfast was also the checkout person. The bed and sheets were very comfortable - sheets nice and crisp! I loved the fact that this hotel is "green." They had great smelling soap, shampoo and lotion in pump containers on the wall - no waste with those little plastic throw away shampoos, lotions, etc. We also had a great view from our room! Overall, we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

During covid we take sanitizer wipes and wipe everything down: light switches. Door handles, bedside tables, TV remote. Fridhe etc. In other places I've been shocked at the grime these pick up, but our room was spotless. Top marks to the cleaning crew.
The breakfast could be picked up each morning from reception, and it was a good range of food which was sealed and wrapped any open food was washable, such as fruit. I would suggest not leaving picking up your breakfast to the last 45 mins. As not much will be left.

I was very thank full that someone was at the front desk when I arrived. My wife and I were headed up north to go camping, unfortunately the camp site we had booked was overbooked when we got there. On our way back to town we made our way to the Green tree Inn and were fortunate to get a room at the last minute. The Staff was attentive, the room was well kept and we felt safe throughout the cold night.

We stayed at the green tree Inn for a weekend get away from Phoenix. We chose it specifically because it is pet friendly and Conveniently located in West Sedona.
The staff was excellent, but the amenities were basic and low to medium quality. The on-site breakfast left a lot to be desired.
That being said, there were excellent breakfast options within walking distance of the hotel including Nick's West Side and Sedona Crepes. We also walked to Vino di Sedona one evening and enjoyed live music and wine.
Due to the pandemic the hotel was not offering cleaning services, but they were available if we needed additional towels or soap.
We were disappointed that cleaning services were not automatically available given that we paid a daily fee for hotel services and qe were willing to vacate the room while the cleaners were present to keep them safe.
Overall the hotel met our needs and helped us stay within budget but we probably would not return without pets.

Pros: liquid soap and shower gel in reusable bottles.
I specifically chose this hotel because it charges service fee to cover high speed internet, which is what I needed. It was my biggest disappointment, because the internet was so slow the whole length of my stay (5 days) that it was almost unusable! So much for an extra fee, worse experience than in cheap motels with free WiFi!
I also paid extra to get a room with a balcony that had a mountain view. But most of the time during the day I can’t use it because somebody was always smoking outside, and the management didn’t do anything about it.
In short, pretty upsetting experience for a pricey hotel.

We value all feedback that we receive, so thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. We understand the importance of staying connected when on the road, so it is unfortunate that you had some issues with our internet. Our service provider has been made aware so that any future concerns can be prevented. Nothing would make us happier than having another chance to impress you, and we hope you'll consider it on your next trip to Sedona.

My wife and I spent one night here in Sedona on a vacation for our anniversary. Upon checking in (our room was ready an hour + early), Michael and Jessica at the front desk learned it was our anniversary and upgraded us to a suite they had open for free!
The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the shower was hot. It was nothing amazingly fancy but was this price point that's not what we're looking for. The mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave were nice, if we stayed more than one night we probably would have used them even more.
We didn't use the WiFi much but it was fast with consistent signal in our room and at the main office.
The breakfast was surprisingly good. We generally don't stay at super expensive hotels and have had complementary breakfasts from a few similarly priced hotels, and this was by far the best. Besides the standard cereal, coffee, juice, pastries, and scrambled eggs they had omelets, pancakes, and ham with peppers.
The next time we're looking for a room in Sedona we'll look up Greentree Inn for sure.

Dear Mamag4kids, I sincerely apologize that our pillows did not enhance your sleep here at the Hotel, we recently purchased new ones that are held in high regard to the Industry and guests alike. As you know many hotels have limited their breakfast to simply "breakfast to go bags", trust me I understand they aren't a 5 star way to start your day but with what we offer; Granola, yogurt, breakfast burrito, mini muffin, mini bagels and fresh fruit, many of our guests are enjoying it. Again, I sincerely apologize your stay was not a stellar experience, we are making changes each day to ensure guests are not only satisfied but that their expectations are exceeded...it seems we missed the mark on this occasion and I hope that in the future you will allow us to make amends and welcome you back to the Hotel. Until then, I truly hope this finds you and yours well. Best regards, Michael Luna

Its a older hotel with character and a good staff; friendly & hospitable. The only down side was the shared toiletries. Understand the cost savings therefore a question of cleanliness and the fact a $10.00 additional service fee is added to the room charge!
I’ve given feedback on this matter & hope it does not fall to deaf ears…

I'm not a smoker so I'm unsure but the breakfasts were a egg burrito and a few assorted danishes type sweets. Milk, coffee, tea etc.
From my understanding, the rooms with a couch do not have a private balcony (the balconies are attached without dividers). The rooms without the couch do have private balconies/patios. Upon arrival, I requested to change to the room without the couch so we could have a private patio and it was 100% worth it, especially during COVID. It’s where we ate all of our meals.
I only know about doubles for two couples. You might want to call the Inn and find out if they have suites.
I don't know of any haunted issues with this location. Unfortunately the only objectionable noises I was aware of came from my car alarm that was malfunctioning and sounding off at random. No ghosts, bad proximaty switch.
We were just guests at the Green Tree in Sedona Arizona, so I can’t answer the question. You should contact the Motel themselves. However the motel was a great place to stay, clean rooms, great people and nice location.
