I was looking for something small and quiet in Sedona and found this little gem along the way. We booked just one night here on our trip. We arrived in the Sedona area around 10am and were pretty bummed to find that it was simply teeming with people. You could not find a spot to park to go on a little hike anywhere. It took us 40 minutes to get through the downtown Sedona area the traffic was so dense, this was not at all what we were looking forward to. So we just kept driving until we got to Flagstaff. Frankly, neither Hubby or I was wanting to fight the traffic to get back to Sedona for the night, but we persevered…THANKFULLY! Earlier in the day Trevor had called from the Inn to touch base with us and ask about any food allergies for the following mornings breakfast, which I thought was very nice. We arrived just a bit before check in time and even though the Inn is just off the road we were so happy to find that it was very quiet and peaceful. We got into our room and found it very newly redone. Something that I really value is the “small” things that make all the difference. Here at the Creekside Inn they provide you with stationery but unlike anywhere else I have been they have pre stamped the envelopes, a nice little touch that makes sending off a quick note so much more convenient…and lets be honest, people still love getting snail mail, we just don’t often take the time to send it. Everything was beautiful and the room itself felt very open and airy. Our room had a private porch facing the creek. We put our things away and went out for a walk along the creek. I am pretty clumsy but even I could navigate the rocky banks. The inn appears to be between private residences and it was so nice to just walk along the creek and relax. Back at the inn we had to decide what to do for dinner. Not wanting to get in the car and back into traffic for any reason we decided to walk up the little hill and across the road to a shopping center where we did have a delicious dinner.

The room we had has a Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace and we enjoyed both of those on our return. The property also offers a communal deck area with a fire pit and chairs and a few guests were out enjoying that as well. This would be a lovely place for a retreat as it is so private and quiet. The inn offers an included breakfast in the morning and this was amazing! Trevor is clearly a very high caliber chef and he truthfully made us some of the best fresh food I have eaten, and I have eaten a good deal of delicious food! The menu changes daily and we had the best biscuits with blueberry compote I have ever had. We also had a beautiful chia and fruit pudding followed by an egg dish, all of which left our taste buds singing. I would go back here just to eat breakfast it was so good! I think this would be a great location for a private party as well…and it was definitely worth braving the traffic into Sedona!

I recently had an amazing stay at Creekside Inn. I can’t speak highly enough for the excellent service and beautiful rooms and property! From the moment I arrived, the staff, particularly Trevor, the property manager and chef, went out of their way to ensure our every need was met and went above and beyond to make us feel safe, welcome, and comfortable, along with having strong and reliable wifi. I stayed in the Amber Suite, which was beautiful, with a jacuzzi tub, large shower, and spacious bedroom area.  The property is right on the creek with a lovely lawn and porch that overlook it, and plenty of space to walk around. We were served an absolutely delicious 3-course breakfast, and the chef can accommodate any diet.

The care and attention to detail was evident.  This is a very special place, that provides a unique experience. I highly recommend it, and I look forward to staying there again!

My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite during our trip to Sedona for our elopement. I was hesitant at first because of the price to stay, but I am so glad we went for it! The location is amazing and close to restaurants that we were able to walk to from the Inn. While we saw other cars parked there, we never saw another guest during our 3 night stay (which was nice because it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves). The staff were extremely nice and the breakfast left on our patio each morning was the cherry on top. It was also fun to explore the creek on the property. 10/10 recommend staying at Creekside Inn if you are looking for a peaceful stay in Sedona!

My husband and I haven't travelled in more than a year, so after we were vaccinated, we were excited to visit family and enjoy this Inn. We arrived and there was an envelope with our name on the front porch. Names were provided on the directions but not on the actual rooms. The room was large and looked out onto a beautiful creek. We thought the room was clean, but under the bed was a cork from the previous person. We had no soap, just 2 small tubes of shower gel and hand sanitizer. We were staying 3 days. We called and requested soap and liquid soap was then provided. The tv remote control had no batteries. The directions given stated that we would receive coffee at 8:30am. My husband is an early riser so he had to get into the car and buy coffee in the morning. He then asked for coffee in the room and after much COVID discussion, he finally received a coffee pot and coffee. He ran out to buy cream. We were provided with a jug of water, and it ran out after the second day. We also left the jug outside our door with our breakfast dirty dishes and a note requesting more water. The dishes were never picked up so we called at about 2:30pm and left a message for more water. At 4:30pm we received a return call informing us that there was no one on site, and that we should walk down using a door code and fill the water jug. The breakfast was marginal for the first 2 days- eggs, no juice or fruit. The last day, it was great, so not sure if they cater to weekenders. Covid was an excuse for no service, and while we understand fully the concerns, there is no excuse for just letting people stay in a room with no on site help.

This was sent to the Creekside Inn after our stay. Since no response was received, I am posting this.
As a courtesy to you, I am contacting you directly and not posting this review on Trip Advisor. We stayed in the Amber suite on March 22-23. To say we were disappointed is putting it mildly. When checking in with our manilla envelope, we thought we followed the map, but went to the wrong room. Not sure why you do not have room signs posted somewhere. Although the room was ‘fine’, our HVAC did not work. It appeared that the remote needed a battery. Luckily, the fireplace sufficed since there was no one to call for any assistance. The breakfast was subpar. My tea was delivered cold— although I’m sure the china pot of water when the server left to deliver it. We also found the products in our room had been used, and were not full.

We understand that Covid has made your business challenging. However, instead of feeling valued for using your facility, we felt ignored as customers. If our room cannot be cleaned everyday, why are there used products in our room which clearly someone else used? If the breakfast location is closed, why are there not coffee pots in the room so the guest can be comfortable. If there are no choices for breakfast, why do we have to complete a form with our ‘choices’. Just ask if we want coffee or tea.

And, in the reservation process, as well as during our stay, calling someone resulted in leaving a message which was never returned. The fact that there seemed to be no one on the premises, other than breakfast time, was very off-putting. We felt we paid a premium to stay at your facility with family members. But instead of receiving a premium stay, we might better have been served at a chain motel. Hopefully, our experience is an anomaly and future guests will enjoy their stay.

This was our first time staying at this lovely spot and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The Moonstone suite faces the creek and we could hear that wonderful sound through the night and the birds chirping in the morning. The best part of the stay, though, was the service and hospitality of Trevor and his staff. Trevor is an amazing chef and the breakfasts were to die for. Every morning was something new, fresh, beautiful and delicious. We highly recommend this gem for a peaceful getaway, scrumptious meals to start the day and a great location walkable to shops and hiking. Thumbs up all the way around.

This getaway was MORE than we had ever expected! From the initial call to ‘Adam’, the manager, we had our own personal travel planner. We were directed to some of the most spectacular sights, activities and food experiences we have ever enjoyed. Little did we know that Adam hired a full time gourmet chef, ‘Britt’, who had trained with her husband, Darren, in LA and had also been accomplished chefs in Sedona. We dined at Mariposa, Hudson, the Vault and Molé, but our most fantastic dining experience was a private dinner for 2 on site at Creekside Inn with an impeccable 6 course meal prepared by Britt and Darren! The breakfasts were incredible as were the accommodations. Adam’s attention to detail in the rooms were spot on from the large steam shower to the in wall fireplace and all of the outdoor spaces. What we didn’t realize was how quiet, private and serene Creekside Inn was despite being centrally located to all of the local attractions. No traffic noise, very private, fishing in the backyard with deer, javelina, squirrels and countless bird life! Hard to believe all of this and a 3 acre paradise on the river walking distance from trails and attractions. We travel often and Creekside Inn is definitely on our Top 3 destinations in the US! Thanks again to Adam, Britt and staff for a remarkable memorable experience! We’ll be back soon…

My husband and I recently stayed at the Creekside Inn for our anniversary. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed exploring around the creek area (just steps from our room). Prior to booking, we were a bit concerned about how the experience would be affected by COVID. However, all accommodations were made to ensure that we felt safe, without losing out on any of the inn’s amenities. Breakfast was set up and served on our private balcony every morning with a tablecloth and place setting. The breakfast itself was incredible and we give nothing but the highest praises to Trevor and his team for the amazing hospitality and service. We often daydream about the breakfast we had during our stay, wishing we were still back at the inn. I highly recommend Creekside Inn for any fellow foodies looking for a peaceful and restorative getaway.

We spent two nights and never saw anyone who ever engaged us or checked on us. The only person working at the inn we saw was a woman who dropped off our breakfast tray on the patio who scurried away before we were able to talk to her.

No coffee cups for the coffee maker in the room. No personal notes, no greetings, nothing. For 600/night I expected more. We were in the honeymoon suite and if it had been my honeymoon, I would have been gravely disappointed. Nothing special about this suite. There are 4 doors that lead outdoors that were unlocked upon arrival. Also there is a door in the living room that led to the kitchen/office that was unlocked. It was very disappointing. Think bad duplex that isn't laid out correctly.

I understand with covid people are being careful but this is unacceptable.

Breakfast each day was ok but there are no choices for what is being served. No refills on coffee, no juice, no pastries. A basic egg dish and a bowl of yogurt with fruit. There is nothing gourmet about this breakfast. Was very poor in execution. Breakfast wasn't until 0830 when coffee was delivered. The egg dish arrived by 920. This is ridiculous for anyone who needed an early start. No offer for a to go breakfast.

There was a firepit outdoors with no chairs available. The common outdoor patio had no seating at all. We had two uncomfortable chairs on a semi private patio that faced a gazebo that was available for all the guests. Once again, glad we weren't really honeymooners.

Finally time to check out after our 0930 breakfast, the main area doors to the office and common area were locked. We had to go back into our room and knock on the door between our room and the kitchen/office to hand someone our key. Just ridiculous.

Stay anywhere else in Sedona. Not sure if this place has changed hands or what but we felt conned and duped by all of the good reviews. Maybe we have higher expectations but we felt this place was a waste of our money and falsely advertised.

My boyfriend and I came up to Sedona for a couple of days while visiting family in Phoenix. Creekside Inn was the perfect place to go to rest and relax. It's a very small hotel (only about 7 rooms) and kids aren't allowed so it was just what we needed: peace and quiet! Because of COVID, we did self check-in and all of the important information was given to us. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but you're also a short drive into downtown Sedona. I would definitely come back!

No, I don't think so. I remember reading that the only time children are allowed is when you rent the entire B&B for an event.

Hi Donna, sorry it took us a bit to get back to you! The Honeymoon Suite (now the Creekside Suite) is two different rooms, there is a bedroom and a living area, the bedroom does have a door and is down a hall from the living area so this would probably work well for your travels! Hope you are well! Kindly, Christina
