Drove up from Tucson for weekend. Nicer than we expected, older elegance, very nice rooms, recently refurbished. Breakfast outside was excellent, with lovely garden location. Staff very pleasant. Will stay there again on next visit to Sedona.
We stayed at Casa Sedona Inn for a long weekend, the inn is delightful! Extremely clean property, the staff is knowledgeable, ready to help with any need, polite & well trained. Breakfast & brunch are served and the food is only only delicious but nicely presented. The rooms are nicely appointed, each having it’s own theme - which is tastefully done & not overdone. The location is off the beaten path of tourist areas and therefore very peaceful & relaxing. A special shoutout to Ky who was in charge of the front desk & also seemed to be basically running the inn during the weekend we stayed, she was well organized, knowledgeable & very polite. We will surely stay at Casa Sedona Inn again & have already recommended it to friends.
Very disappointed with mattress and response from manager Christy. I reported problem with bed while there and lady at desk tells me beds were new a month ago. I told her bed is obviously defective. Mngr Christy calls me after I’m home and I tell her about sinking area in middle of mattress and that they should replace it and she responds mattress is only a yr old. No acknowledgement of uncomfortable sunken mattress or compensation. No apology even. Such poor management.
Nieces wedding in Phoenix, hubby and I took a 2 day side trip to Casa Sedona Inn. Best decision! Although Sedona has changed a lot since our last visit (much more crowded!) Casa Sedona Inn was serene! What a delightful respite from the crowds in town. Stayed in the Arizona Pines room, bed was comfy, fireplace was beautiful. The club chairs were not the most comfortable but we had plenty of wine to distract from that. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff wonderful. Would 100% recommend this Inn.
The Casa is a lovely inn located very conveniently just off the main road in Sedona but in a tranquil neighborhood close to hiking trails. Our room was cozy and well equipped with a beautiful view. We loved the little details like cookies in the afternoon! Breakfast at the restaurant was fabulous. We enjoyed sitting outside. The staff are very attentive and kind. We highly recommend staying here!
This is a good location - close to most things but still quiet and only 1 mile from the Thunder Mountain trailhead which is a really nice hike with fabulous views. We also tried several restaurants within walking distance/short drive (Gerardo’s Italian Kitchen, Vino di Sedona, Dahl & DiLuca) and liked them all. The Inn has some nice touches: good outdoor spaces, hot tub, afternoon cookies, wine bottle chiller, reverse osmosis hot and cold water, electric firepalace, robes and slippers. Overall, a good experience but a few things could have made it even better - maid service was minimal only making the bed but no other cleaning or removing dirty glasses/dishes, etc; maybe some new robes - the current ones stiff and scratchy; the grout on the tile floor in the room needed a good cleaning or to be regrouted. Other reviews talk about the great breakfasts; we ate here our first morning and found the food to be marginal. The lemon ricotta pancakes were not light and fluffy but hard and dry. And the potatoes that were brought out were actually cold and we had to request hot potatoes - maybe just a bad day??? Overall, I would recommend the inn as a good place to stay in the area.…
Casa Sedona Inn is a beautiful, quiet, place. The outdoor patio area is small, but relaxing all the same. We stayed in the Sonoran which was a nice room. My only take aways are #1 the towels by the vanity/sink area were damp, and #2 it's hard to rest at night as you can hear all the steps and movement of the guests above you, also whenever someone runs water it was heard very loud in the walls. To end with a positive, the breakfast at the on site restaurant was 5 star all the way ( we ate there 3 mornings).
We can see why this is rated so well. Great location. Quiet, but close to everything. We only had 2 nights and one full day, and that day we got a lot of snow. So no hiking for us. But a lovely room to just hang out in. Great service. Quiet. Beautiful views.
We had the pleasure of spending a week at the inn and it was great. The owners are really nice and the staff are all very attentive. The food was top notch and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing which is just what we were looking for. Location is great, just off the main road so access to everything is right there yet you are in a nice serene setting. Would definitely go back.
I would not stay here again, and these 5-star reviews surprised me. As a seasoned traveler, I must be upfront about my experience. This is a good option if you're looking for a small property outside the main downtown area. The garden room was tiny and awkward. They are dated. You will hang your clothing up in the bathroom, and the fridge is in the bathroom. The worst part is hearing the guests above you stomping around all day and night. The walls are paper-thin. When the neighbor uses the shower, it sounds like it's in your room. On a positive note, the restaurant is excellent, and the people who work here are friendly.
