Manzanita Campground is a small, year-round, tent-only facility with campsites that fill up very quickly. Visitors enjoy the campground for its fishing and swimming holes along Oak Creek, beautiful scenery, and excellent wildlife watching. Oak Creek Canyon is very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. In order to book a campsite, it is best to reserve a weekday.

Came to Sedona hoping to get a campsite in the first come first serve spots as they were all booked up. When we got in Dennis greated us with a smile and was very helpful in getting us a spot, fire wood, ice and pointed out where the best hikes were located. Great smaller campground that has hikes just up the road and a great swimming hole with rock jumps just to the south. Definitely would recommend the site and talking with the hosts as they are greatly knowledgeable of the area. 5 stars

This was a great time to spend here. The campus was amazing. Her and her husband are very kind and maintain the campsite very well. This is always been one of the most favorite camp spots to visit when I’m not Boondocking which is my preferred method but this is second-best. Very close to the Creek and a nice little swim hole

This camp is small, so it was quite. We had a riverside spot and it was so beautiful, I did not want to leave. We even had a visit from a skunk, who did not even notice we were there. The fall colors were outlined by the beautful red rocks!

This little campground is serene and beautiful. Located right by a river makes for great sleeping in a tent. We were there during the off season so we about froze in our tent but still had a blast. Great access to a trailhead right across the road. A short winding drive in to sedona or Flagstaff. The camp host was incredibly helpful and friendly and kept the place in great order. He was able to suggest trails and where to watch the superbowl one evening. They only allow really small setups (like truck bed campers maybe and tents) bc of the tight turns and access to the area. We had a lovely time! Would definitely return.

Great campground! Pretty river. Perfect to discover Sedona (red rocks) and Flagstaff. Cool, shaded sites. Very kind camp host, clean toilets. Just so you know: there are no showers. First come first serve
