Really impressed by this experience. Villas are large and in the middle of the red rocks with a super quiet atmosphere. There's everything you need inside the room, with modern furniturem a Jacuzzi and a lot of appliances equipped for a comfort stay. We cooked and enjoyed also the gas grill area for a BBQ with friends. Pool is clean and big, with a super nice hot tub. Staff is great and location is 5 min drive from the very centre of Sedona. Would definitely come back. Would have appreciated a more frequent housekeeping service....

Based on some of the reviews I was a little nervous, expecting dirty old furniture and crummy accommodations. I booked anyway because I liked the fact that it had a pool, jacuzzi tub in room, a couch in the studio, and a patio. And when I walked in I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Super clean, the furniture is FINE (people are saying it's outdated but it's pristinely clean and very comfortable). The bed was perfect, super cozy and huge. One thing some reviewers don't seem to understand is that these are privately owned residences or timeshares or something and they are not a regular hotel. Therefore they are not cleaned every day like a normal hotel would be. Which is honestly fine by me, I like having a mid afternoon nap without the threat of housekeeping barging in anyway. Speaking of mid afternoon naps, the curtains kept the sun out so it felt like a cozy little cave which I LOVE during the hot summer days. Honestly, layout wise, the studio felt like it was a space I could actually live in and be very content. It's a little off the beaten path, meaning it's not within walking distance to restaurants or bars (other than maybe the ones in the resort), but that was fine by me. The only thing that was somewhat uncomfortable was the walls were paper thin, so I could hear the baby crying next door. It wasn't bad enough to hinder the experience at all though. Would have been a much more terrible experience if the noise was from people...you know...ahem. I'd take crying baby any day over that! Overall I had a perfect time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Stayed at the Villas at Poco Diablo for two days and it definitely didn’t meet our expectations! We checked in and were met by a not to friendly lady. Somewhat curt and not very accommodating. No explanation of anything (pool, hot tub, restaurants, etc) so we were pretty much on our own. The room was a one bedroom so it was quite large; but VERY dated! Furniture seems as if it was pre-90’s! We went out for the day and was very surprised that our room wasn’t cleaned when we returned! I checked with Ms. Unfriendly and she explained that they don’t clean the room every day! Would have been nice if she explained that the first day! So many nice places to stay in Sedona but this isn’t one of them!!

The Villas at Poco Diablo are a reasonably priced, very centrally located, comfortable base for exploring Sedona. Our main room had a cathedral ceiling, couch, arm chair and gas fireplace and overlooked a golf course and soaring Sedona red rock cliffs. Other rooms overlooked Oak Creek. The room had a well-furnished kitchenette (pots, pans, dishes, etc) with coffee maker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom included a two person jacuzzi tub and there was also a vanity outside the bathroom. It has a nice heated pool and whirlpool which were both nice after a day of hiking. The location is terrific -- very near the downtown area, a five minute drive from some of the most popular trailhead parking lots. It is also very close to the popular Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village complex with restaurants and shopping. A few mild caveats: First, the "Villas" at Poco Diablo are different from and not affiliated with the Poco Diablo "Resort". The resort does give a discount for dining and the use of some of its facilities to people staying at the "Villas". But there are no tennis courts or spa facilities, for example, at the "Villas" -- those are at the Resort. Second, the Villas were more than nice enough for us, but they are a little bit worn around the edges. Everything works fine and the rooms were spotless. But don't be surprised if some of the trim on the couch has come lose or the screen on the fireplace is a bit askew. We thought they were great (we paid less than $200 per night) -- and a great bargain compared to other places. But if you want everything brand new, just be aware that the Villas have been there for awhile and show a little wear. Third, they are doing some construction -- but there was no noise that we noticed and it didn't interfere in any way with our stay. It appeared that they were sprucing up some of the central facilities (laundry room, check in desk), among other things. Bottom line: We spent three wonderful days hiking and exploring Sedona with this as our base and we would definitely stay there again. Especially if you want a kitchen and space to spread out, this is an excellent base for your stay in Sedona.

We loved our stay at Villas at Poco Diablo. We stayed in a studio room and it was perfect for the two of us. The room was spotless when we arrived. I was surprised at how spacious and comfortable it was. There was every convenience we needed for our short stay. The kitchenette was perfect and helped us to save money being able to do a little cooking and warm up our leftovers from the many great restaurants around. The bed was very comfortable and even the shower had awesome water pressure. It was very convenient to have a second vanity area to use while the bathroom was occupied. Loved being able to flick a switch and have a nice fire in the cool evenings and mornings. The view from the back patio over the golf course was spectacular. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
