The Star Motel was in a convenient location to explore what Sedona had to offer. It was a great home base to explore the town and surrounding area. Unfortunately, I was woken up quite early due to the street noise, but turned it into a positive by getting up and taking a morning hike to see the sunrise! Totally worth... More

This place is all about the location. You are IN uptown Sedona so can walk everywhere! If you want a quiet night of sleep this isnt for you. We could hear the tv in the room next to us early in the morning and traffic and voices throughout the night BUT it was ok because it has the BEST location.... More

Marcelle and Anne are treasures. I feel so blessed to have found them. The room was clean, quiet, and cozy; my bliss. It also had a fridge! I slept like a baby, and loved that I could walk out my door and into the heart of town. I also love that the motel is vintage! I highly recommend the Star... More

Perfect location at the Y in uptown. Absolutely no street noise once the town rolls up at 8:00 in October. Super comfy beds, fridge and new bathrooms this was a perfect hang out while we hiked by day and ate at Elote and drank Margaritas by night (lime and cucumber!). Clean cozy and walkable to everywhere. Perfect!

Small rooms, but good value ($99+) for Sedona. Right in the heart of the tourist area, but not really sure if that's necessary. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Great views from the front porch. Recommended.

Unless you are the type that needs a fancy resort, you should definitely save money and stay here. It has everything you need including a microwave and a mini refrigerator as well as a comfortable bed. It is located right in uptown Sedona, yet off of a side street so you don't have the high traffic right in front of... More

This is one of the first motels in the heart of Sedona, probably built in the 50's. Don't expect a suite, but it was a great place to sleep. WI-FI was slow but adequate. The room was neat and clean and daily cleaning was done very well.

Located within 3 minutes of shops & restaurants, but on side street so pretty quiet. Owner very easy to work with for reservations and accomodated our late arrival. Good for 1-2 night stay. Yes I would stay again.

I was so happy to find this motel as it was so reasonable a price for Sedona. It is very central we could leave the car and walk round town. We only stayed one night as we had been in Sedona about 10 years previously for a week and this was a revisit during a road trip. The room was... More
