From the booking process to check in to check out, everything was amazing... The minute we walked in to check in we were offered water (really good tasting water too if you are a water snob like me)... The pool area was very clean and peaceful... Hotel is clean, staff is amazing and I will most definitely be back but this time with a beautiful little baby boy...

Truthfully I was expecting B- when I booked this hotel, and what I got was A+++... From the time you check in at the front desk to the day you leave, you,as a guest, are made to feel special... Let’s talk about those amazing front desk agents: they are wonderful and full of all the information you need to make your Sedona trip itinerary full... Your bags taken from your car to your room by the most helpful bell men... I’ve already booked a future reservation, and I can’t wait to go back...

Angela at the spa made sure we were able to take full advantage of the amenities, and the facility was extremely well cared for... Our fireplace was exactly as billed and a wonderful addition to the room (we visited in February, so we used it frequently)...

When I looked up this hotel I thought it was going to be great but to my surprise it was absolutely fantastic... The people that run this place are also fantastic they were so nice really honestly cared about their customers and always had a few minutes to talk to you about anything you needed or wanted to talk about... The food at the restaurant excellent I was very pleased and the wait staff there was also fantastic... I don't use this word fantastic very often in a review but I want people to know how absolutely wonderful these people were and this hotel I would recommend it to all my friends and family...

...The location is great since it’s right in the center of town so everything is close by. Staff was very friendly and the property is beautiful... We stayed in the room with a fire place and had a great view of the red rocks from our balcony... The fire was also nice to have since it gave the room a nice vibe and kept us cozy... The fire pits in the back area are big and have comfy chairs to lounge in, which we took advantage of during two of the nights we stayed... The hotel is also dog friendly which was a major plus since we wanted to bring our golden doodle... The restaurant downstairs is decent and had live music on the weekends... On the pricier side but very convenient if you are hungry and need a bite right away...

We celebrated our elopement at the Wilde Resort and Spa... We chose the King Spa building suite and it had breathtaking sunrise views, a comfortable bed, and panoramic windows... The room included bottles of bamboo hair shampoo, wash, and conditioner, a keurig, a mini fridge, toweled robes, and water when we arrived... In being in the spa building you have access to the spa lounge and steam rooms downstairs... They turned on the fire pits each night and early am so you could sit by them for sunrise and cozy up after sunset... The saltwater pool is heated for yearly use... The jacuzzis are scattered throughout and make a great soak after hiking challenging trails... So if you are traveling from afar, be prepared going in to stop into the grocery store next door (Safeway) or to eat before your drive in... The trails are close, the restaurants nearby are in walking distance... At the Rascal - Alex and Jared went above and beyond in their service to us while we stayed there... Mariah and Mackenzie were outstanding staff members who made us feel really welcome... The wedge salad, the meatloaf, the breakfast meals are all outstanding dishes... Our thoughts: Best meal: breakfast at the Rascal Best drink: prickly pear margarita at the Rascal Best hike: Devils Bridge Trail (has rock scrambling at the top) and gets very busy Best sunrise: Airport Mesa Trail (easy), get there early, parking lot is small Best sunset: Merry go round rock on Schenbly trail...

...There are very few hotels I am willing to give a 5 star review to but The Wilde has every angle covered and then some. My husband and I were in the Grove building and our room was perfect in every way... The small kitchenette area was a big plus... The sofa and fire place were nice extras... Although the fire place is a small in the wall unit, it creates great ambiance and puts out a lot of heat... The room was immaculate and not dated at all (as a few reviewers have mentioned)... The resort is on the smaller side but has everything a large resort offers... We ate there twice for dinner and twice for breakfast because it was so convenient and good... The firepits around the property were wonderful for the evenings... Time did not allow us to use the spa or pool/hot tub area but both looked appealing... The gentleman that assisted in getting our luggage to the room was great!... In fact, everyone we encountered was very friendly and accommodating... The Wilde is a great place to stay for a special occasion or friends/family gathering... It is on the pricier side but it seems everything is in Sedona... We hope to stay at The Wilde again and would definitely recommend!...

We really enjoyed our recent four night stay here... On the plus side: I experienced the best massage I’ve ever received (and I’ve had a lot) from Keri in the spa... Our Grove king room was great: giant bathroom with walk in shower for two, extremely comfortable bed and very quiet even being on ground floor... The firepits, hammocks and general atmosphere here is relaxing and ideal for Sedona... The location was great for easy access to the best hiking trails of Sedona and great to not have to navigate the crowded touristy part of town just to hike... Loved the free cans of spring water at reception that you never had to ask for... Rascals was awesome for both lunch and dinner... I tried to email the hotel to inquire about activities when I booked and no one responded to me... And if you’re traveling without kids, be ready to see them here splashing about the pool and hot tubs and running around the grounds... But on balance I would look forward to visiting here again...

Ok, so maybe you're trying to decide where to stay in Sedona, and you're mulling the same factors I was: You want a lush resort experience but don't know if you want to pay Enchantment/L'Auberge/Ambiente prices when you're going to spend a lot of time off property adventuring. The Wilde looks enticing, but you've read that it's near a Safeway and a McDonald's and have doubts about the location. Have no worries -- The Wilde is the perfect adventure base camp in Sedona. Let me address location first, as that was my biggest concern. Yes, it's on a busy road and across the street from a Safeway, but once you enter the property, you pretty much feel as though you're in your own world. From the third floor rooftop lounge where you go to view sunrises and sunsets, you can see the Safeway, but I still experienced magical sky watching. And ground floor outdoor spaces are totally secluded. I ended up having lunch at Cress at Oak Creek, L'Auberge's restaurant, and I saw that L'Auberge is right in the city, too. What I saw of L'Auberge was beautiful and the service and food were excellent, but I felt that The Wilde was just as great -- with seemingly better red rock views -- for a much lower price. Even Ambiente, I noticed on a car ride, sits on a highway. The Wilde is a beautiful property. It's rated four stars, but the staff are five star caliber. It's not so much that there's a lot of service -- it's not one of those places where, for example, every time you leave the room housekeeping sneaks in to refresh it, but rather it's that the people are proactive and kind. Upon check in, I was greeted with such sincere and enthusiastic warmth by the three employees in the lobby, I immediately knew i had made the right choice of resort, even before seeing my room. From the bellman seeing me reading by a ground floor fire pit one evening and suggesting I head up to the rooftop to watch the sunset -- and guiding me there -- to people who, regardless of their job or where they were headed -- rushed to open a nearby door for me or stopped to inquire about my day -- everyone felt like a kind person who loved Sedona and was eager to make sure I had the best experience of it. The food at Rascal's was great -- although, in the end, I also appreciated having that Safeway nearby so I had the option of grabbing some prepared food, sushi, or ice cream in between sightseeing. The two yoga and meditation teachers I had, Kelly and Naomi, were phenomenal. (I wish I remembered more of the staff's names, but everyone was excellent). The experience, as a whole, was so rich and multifaceted, I often found myself plagued by the best of problems: should I linger by the fire pit to listen to the amazing acoustic guitarist or head up to the rooftop lounge to watch the sunset? Should sleep in in the extremely comfortable bed or get up for a powerful meditation and inspiring yoga session? I also visited the spa where I had an incredible massage from Lisa and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation lounge, outdoor spa patio, and steam rooms. All the spa staff, especially the lady from Zambia, went out of their way to make the experience special. If you want to go on vacation and never leave the resort, this might not be the place for you -- it's not one of those properties with ten tennis courts and a golf course and horseback riding and skeet shooting. But, if you're planning to spend your time out and about and you want a beautiful place with great views, great food, great service, a restorative spa, and wonderful activities to begin and end your day with, this is the place. I can't wait to come back!

We stayed at The Wilde Resort and Spa October 13-16. Upon arrival we were greeted with welcoming smiles. The entire hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience! They were attentive to our needs, friendly and knowledgeable about the resort and Sedona. We even had detailed information about the solar eclipse and glasses ready in our room! The amenities at the resort are AMAZING! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Rascals, a meditation walk in the Labyrinth, drinks by the fire pits, pool, outdoor and spa hot tubs and the steam room was heavenly! The location was also AMAZING, right in the heart of West Sedona with easy access to almost everything Sedona has to offer. We were so excited to walk to restaurants and shops and to Sugarloaf trailhead from the resort! We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay, many memories made! We can’t wait to come back and experience the outstanding hospitality of the resort staff and all of the many amenities at the resort! THANK YOU for taking such great care of us and making us feel so special!

My mom and I loved everything about The Wilde Resort and Spa. We did spa treatments, yoga classes, swimming pool and hot tubs, listened to live music, dined at Rascal and more. I asked for a birthday treat for my mom, so Robin K. and Bryson B. went above and beyond to make it happen. We also loved the special water in the lobby and the crystal left on our beds. Thank you for being extraordinary. What a wonderful place to visit.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience at The Wilde Resort and Spa. I have been to Sedona many times and this was the best experience I've had! My fiance and I went on a trip to celebrate his birthday and it exceeded our expectation! The property is beautiful, and our entire experience felt luxurious. well beyond the cost our stay! We had an incredible view, our room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! We felt taken care of from the moment we stepped on property... Ms Robin at the front desk was fantastic, as was Mr. Hollis who assisted us with our bags! The spa was also phenomenal! We cannot wait to go back very soon! Thank you Wilde!

This Hotel is absolutely not a 4 star. The suncatcher king with fireplace and views of red rocks is def not a ‘sun’ room it’s dark even with all the lamps on, Juliette balcony is useless and you have minimal views. Infact what you see more is the parking lot and all the other balconies. The room amenities are basic and nothing has been truly updated in this hotel as advertised. The staff is very under dressed for what they want to represent. I will let you think what that means. The pool and hot tub is ok. They have a fire pit but sell their s’mores kit rather than providing one complimentary as they do in the other hotels. Honestly I would never stay here and felt they falsely advertised the hotel. I did ask to get an upgrade and they claimed the hotel was fully booked except the suite which would cost $600 more a night. I was not falling for that given the status of these mid level rooms. Happy hunting! This did not get in the way of us enjoying Sedona!
