Getting to the retreat center is a journey n and of itself that any East Coasterners will want to prep themselves for. It is 10 miles of remote dirt road. Take your time and enjoy the journey. It offers an opportunity to really let go of any ballast and enter Mago open to receiving gift of the spirit. And when... More

We had an amazing experience at Sedona Mago! The many vortexes on the property could be felt all all over the resort. It was a rejuvenating getaway. We were only there for a weekend but I would have loved to stay longer to explore the property. The food was so fresh and healthy and the staff was top notch.

I just completed my second visit to the Mago retreat and am writing a review for both wonderful visits. I was there for 10 days in November 2015, and 11 days in May 2016. Both times, the warm welcome and excellent service from Kathy at the Welcome Center was very much appreciated after a long, hard day of travel. This... More

I spent 3 nights here with a friend for a personal retreat. We came to do some meditations and relax. If you do a personal retreat then you have the option of buying other activities a'la cart. Unfortunately some of the things I was planning on doing they required us to find a third party to join because they don't... More

I just returned from an almost 2 week stay at this retreat center. During this time I took 2 workshops, and enjoyed two days just enjoying the grounds, the surrounding desert, the simple, but excellent meals, and the people visiting and working there. Sedona Mago Retreat Center guides the development of the spiritual self through the physical processes of yoga.... More

If you want to get away from it all and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature, this is the place for you. Sedona Mago is isolated, completely unplugged, incredibly beautiful and intentionally filled with spectacular opportunities for moments of absolute connection to the spiritual essence of the earth mother. The rooms are basic but meet your needs. The vegetarian food... More

I stayed here as I was attending a workshop being held onsite. What a beautiful place, it was just what I needed, the peace and quiet is perfect. My room was lovely, everything I needed. I admit I was quite happy to have wifi that worked in my room, haha, didn't need THAT much peace! The staff are all friendly... More

I came here as part of a "Going Global" conference. The area was a place of stunning beauty and tranquility. The food was good although a bit samey after a week. Whilst I appreciate the ethos of the place I don't like having views imposed on me. So found my own freedom restrained by the retreats view which clashes with... More

This review is so long overdue. Mago Garden has something special, that no overpriced resort can offer. Peace and quiet, in the most beautiful of settings....with some extra that cannot even be described. If you want to get away from it all, and rediscover yourself. This is the place. If you wish to be left alone, no one will bother... More

If your seeking a place of solitude and isolation this place is for you. Rooms are quiet and minimalistic. The grounds are immense and offer many hiking trails. Some trails take you to natural energy sources emanating from the ground. Take in the stars in the evening from outside your room or while soaking in the pool. You may even... More
