The Sedona Mago Retreat is a wonderful place. The 11 mile journey down the road is rough, but well worth it. They have created a real oasis in the Sedona desert. The buildings are ecological and modest, as what we'd expect, but the people, food and gardens are wonderful. And at night ‎the gardens, pathways and waterways are magically and sensitively illuminated. Our intention...

This magical place helped me so much to open my body and mind where I can smile from my heart. Living in east coast for a long time contributed me to tense myself unconsciously. Kind staffs and healthy food~ I need to come to this place at least once a year to renew and reset my spirit.

First off, I have nothing but amazing things to say about Mago. It helps that I was there with 200 other people for an event hosted my Insight Events with Don Miguel Ruiz, and other amazing teachers. The grounds is simply amazing, and different from what I usually chase--the coast and beach. There's much to learn about the landscape, the...

I came here for the first time last year, and this place walks the walk. The energy is pure and welcoming, it feels like home. The rooms and are clean with good feng shui, and the bathrooms are clean as well. The pescatarian buffet style meal times are awesome because you can see all of the other guests and share...

I arrived early (2pm) with other guests as was recommended in the confirmation paperwork. At first I was told they we're running a little behind and they estimated I'd get my room by 4pm, however I was not let into my room until 9pm. The excuse was that a large group checked out that day. Clearly they aren't employing enough...

I attended a weekend retreat at this wonderful center. The venue was spectacular in visual appeal and very calm, quiet. The food was excellent and plentiful. Sleeping accommodations were fine and it was very quiet at night, silence observed between 10 pm and 6 am. I would recommend for retreats of all kinds.

I haven't read many of the reviews on here (just the ones on the side) and so I do want to address two points - the one about cults and the one about no TV. (No TV are you freaking kidding me - that's heaven!! and the whole point of going somewhere like this - as with limited WiFi... it's...

I feel like I really need to write a review because I was really torn between going to this retreat at Sedona Mago because of all the controversial articles written about it that I found on the Internet. ( reviews saying it was a cult and that it was after your money). When looking, I never found a review that...

We really found the four day, three night retreat worthwhile. It was a good mix of "lecture" and outdoor/practical activities. We seriously needed to detach and this really hit the mark. The location is spectacular and excluded, the people are friendly and the accommodations are nice. It is easy to eat vegetarian - there is no meat but they do...
