I haven't read many of the reviews on here (just the ones on the side) and so I do want to address two points - the one about cults and the one about no TV. (No TV are you freaking kidding me - that's heaven!! and the whole point of going somewhere like this - as with limited WiFi... it's...

I feel like I really need to write a review because I was really torn between going to this retreat at Sedona Mago because of all the controversial articles written about it that I found on the Internet. ( reviews saying it was a cult and that it was after your money). When looking, I never found a review that...

We really found the four day, three night retreat worthwhile. It was a good mix of "lecture" and outdoor/practical activities. We seriously needed to detach and this really hit the mark. The location is spectacular and excluded, the people are friendly and the accommodations are nice. It is easy to eat vegetarian - there is no meat but they do...

Just a few things: no TV, no carpet in the rooms. no service after 5pm. So if you dont eat well for dinner..thats it. Lovely Vortexes, Great food, but really: no TV? and it seems there is wildlife life close by. spotty Wifi. Im sorry, but i was bored by day 2. Went for a 4 day conference.

Getting to the retreat center is a journey n and of itself that any East Coasterners will want to prep themselves for. It is 10 miles of remote dirt road. Take your time and enjoy the journey. It offers an opportunity to really let go of any ballast and enter Mago open to receiving gift of the spirit. And when...

We had an amazing experience at Sedona Mago! The many vortexes on the property could be felt all all over the resort. It was a rejuvenating getaway. We were only there for a weekend but I would have loved to stay longer to explore the property. The food was so fresh and healthy and the staff was top notch.

I just completed my second visit to the Mago retreat and am writing a review for both wonderful visits. I was there for 10 days in November 2015, and 11 days in May 2016. Both times, the warm welcome and excellent service from Kathy at the Welcome Center was very much appreciated after a long, hard day of travel. This...

I spent 3 nights here with a friend for a personal retreat. We came to do some meditations and relax. If you do a personal retreat then you have the option of buying other activities a'la cart. Unfortunately some of the things I was planning on doing they required us to find a third party to join because they don't...

I just returned from an almost 2 week stay at this retreat center. During this time I took 2 workshops, and enjoyed two days just enjoying the grounds, the surrounding desert, the simple, but excellent meals, and the people visiting and working there. Sedona Mago Retreat Center guides the development of the spiritual self through the physical processes of yoga....

If you want to get away from it all and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature, this is the place for you. Sedona Mago is isolated, completely unplugged, incredibly beautiful and intentionally filled with spectacular opportunities for moments of absolute connection to the spiritual essence of the earth mother. The rooms are basic but meet your needs. The vegetarian food...
